    How did your weigh-in go?

    Hoping you had a great weigh in! Glad you are back on track.

    Thanks for asking!

    I'm confused on the weigh in. Well, not so confused as amazed by the human body.

    June 17 - 226
    July 17 - 230

    So, I gained 4lbs. However, my old XL scrub top fits and was almost impossible to wear last month.

    Go figure. I'll take it. Need to start measuring.

    It isn't always about the number! There is a lot to be said for how things fit. I haven't measured at all, but clothes I couldn't squeeze into a few weeks ago now are perfect and with my post vaca and surgery, the scale hasn't actually moved too much. So it is still a huge win!

    Maybe the weight gain is mostly water, and you'll shed that quickly once you return to your normal eating patterns.

    Too much freedom for me is bad news!
    Had rather learn a hard lesson with a 3-5lb gain, versus my past 30-40.

    This really resonates with me, and I needed to read that today.

    Robert you're exactly right 3-5 pounds is definitely easier to get rid of, I know you can do it!!!

    Britt stay strong <3

    @dkayingram Indeed!

    @Eddy_65 Probably, was off keto and too much alcohol consumption. After watching Joe’s latest video, I’m expanding my diet past keto, just will skipping empty calories.

    @Brendalea69 Thank you.

    blessings to you and your MOM. Hope it gets easier for you both, but I know it will be hard. I work as a courier and get a small taste of it when see people going through this, while delivering medications to memory care facilities, but I can walk away and put it out of mind, I cannot amagine the hardship of having loved ones in this state, my heart goes out to you bro!

    4 pounds, 4 schmounds (easier to say than to receive of course)! If you're fitting into clothes, the inches are dropping, and that is awesome! Eddy is right -- it's probably water weight!

    Indeed, I like my legumes and such, so will just deal with it!

    That's great that you're expanding your diet. You're going to love it and probably feel a lot more comfortable.

    Low carb resets my addictions. Adding carbs back slowly via the old school Atkins method works well. Twas my last successful method. I only regained the weight due to peer pressure eating. That is history. Fasting works. Real whole food is the catalyst.

    Thank you.

    Thank you. By the way, I can drive all day without eating. Just aided by my no calorie electrolyte mixture!
