This is the first time in probably four years that I've signed on to MFP and started tracking my food again. Not much but it's a start.35

@rheddmobile - Congratulations on your anniversary!
RE:Your NSV's - All your efforts are paying off - well done!5 -
@rheddmobile First off - Congratulations on your silver wedding anniversary! Secondly, so pleased you had a lovely meal out - great job hubby for ringing ahead regarding menu. Restaurants are usually so happy to help you have a wonderful celebration if you tell them early. Finally you look beautiful and just the same as you did on your wedding day - so whatever you've been doing - keep at it you two - it's working!!12

I have seemingly unending energy!! This week I worked in my classroom 5 hours every day AFTER doing an hour of exercise. A month ago I would have never imagined I could have enough energy to do that.18

My scale, that reads BMI, weight, fat % etc. is saying i am no longer OBESE!! The charts and MPF say that i am not, so within the next 5 pounds it will be official.34

I recently had a tummy-tuck, went to my Dr appointment today to have my drain removed and to ask the doctor about something that was really concerning me. On my sides were two hard lumps that were bruised, I was nervous because I thought something was seriously wrong. My doctor had a confused look on his face, which upset me a bit as I thought he was blowing me off (he's a great doctor btw). He told me to calm down then his exact words were "Those hard bumps that are getting bruised by the compression garment, that is your outer pelvic bone. Those are your hips, without the layer of excess skin and fat, they protrude and are more susceptible to bruising. That's called normal.". I have never felt so stupid in a long time! Then it hit me, OMG!!! I have hips and they're "normal"!!!!51

That I cannot stand energy drinks/soda anymore. It upsets my stomach beyond belief. I also started my vegetarian diet not long ago. Been wanting to do that for a while now.20

I haven't exceeded 2000 calories in four whole days. That's probably the longest I've gone without going over (yes, I still have a lot to learn about consistency).
I still have the rest of the week to blow this off, but so far in 4,5 months of Fitbit sync (which calculates the weekly average to a nice chart) I have had only one week with an average below 2000. That was the first week of April. My average for the beginning of the week is 1990, and there are no plans for the rest of the week that would include going over by a lot.20 -
Veins! Visible, projecting veins in my thighs and shoulders! Wife finds them disgusting, but I think I'm addicted. Must. Get. More. Veins.20

Today we done the beep test at bootcamp. I got to 2.6. My last attempt was 2.7 so have gone a little backwards, BUT instead of sitting and watching while everyone else continued, I caught my breath and joined back in and when I was getting breathless again I slowed down to a turtle pace jog and kept on waddling. Time to get back into my c25k so I can get to level 3 and beyond 😁 Our fittest member got to level 12!15

Today I completed the C25K programme for possibly the 5th time in 2 years but it was the second time I completed every single week. The problem I have is that when I go on holiday, I don't exercise then struggle to get back in the zone. So from now on, my plan is to continue running even when on holiday. For now I am happy that I am able to continue get back on track! Will continue running 3 times a week!22

Made a super delicious dinner last night. I served myself what I wanted (and was within my calorie goal). It was so good! I really wanted to go back to seconds. But I didn't. I wanted to be able to save more yum-points for the weekend, so I abstained. And since I didn't go back for more, I get to enjoy it again for lunch today. Portion control win? I say yes. Now to learn how to do this while not monitoring calories....24

Went for my first run since March, when life went crazy for awhile and exercise went out the window. So excited to get back at it!17

I've been logging my food and evaluated it and noticed the areas I was using up most of the calories. I was able to come up with some strategies to significantly lower the calories without feeling deprived. I tried them yesterday and was able to log the lowest calorie day so far since being on this site.

Today I bought some new jeans a size lower than what I had been buying and a large shirt! Not XL!
Besides that I actually reached my protein goal today! I don’t eat meat very often so this is not normal! I noticed I have felt full for the most part of the day which is also not normal! Now it’s the end of the day and I have many left over calories!18 -
A few NSVs:
- I've been to the gym 3 days in a row this week!
- I went to a store, and all the clothing I tried on that fit were in a size small. 😶 I used to not be able to fit into this store before, as I was too big for the larges.
- I've been exercising self control with my food. All I want to do is eat lately, so I've been portioning out things and having healthy snacks. It's taking a lot not to just keep eating!
- I tried on a tshirt that used to be tight, and now it is so loose I had to tie a knot in it.
- I pushed myself and powered through a 5k today on the treadmill. My legs ache and my time wasn't anywhere near amazing, but I finally did one!31 -
I let myself have a crazy day, nearly double goal calories. Why is that an NSV? I have been scared to death to do that after losing ~60 pounds to get to my original goal and have lost close to 10 more. That is sort of okay as I want my entire maintenance range below goal but I need to stop the trend. I really need to adjust to a proper goal. Just letting myself go way over once is helpful, as crazy as that sounds. I will get back on track with a more reasonable goal and see that I didn't balloon up 10 pounds; more like a half a pound, which I could stand to gain.25

- I'm down a size in jeans! I only bought one pair in the new size and it's too hot to wear full-length jeans right now, so it'll be a few weeks until I start wearing them on the regular.
- Related to the previous: my current jean shorts look a bit frumpy because I finally lost some weight from the FRONT!!! I'll never have a flat belly and I don't know if I'd want one anyway, but not being so round up front is exciting.
- My new, smaller underwear fits. Psychological victory: I let myself buy two cute pairs (haven't previously due to feeling unworthy, even though I believe everyone deserves attractive undergarments)
- Consistently fitting size M tops! (With variation due to brand/vanity sizing differences, but M is my new default, not XXL)
