How Accurate Is Your Tracking?

Assuming you are tracking, how accurate is the point/calorie count?
Are you really down to the nose on accuracy, or is it a best guess type of thing, or do you simply track what you eat?
I try to be somewhat accurate; although, it sometimes becomes a best guess scenario. I have found, however, simply putting food in a journal keeps me mindful and aware of what and how much I am eating - whether the calorie count is absolutely accurate or not. I have lost ten pounds in the last two months just "doing my best" without really stressing over it.
How about you?

My Tracking at this time is a bit sloppy and I am all over from day to day. I use to be very detailed with my tracking.1

My tracking is sufficient to 'keep me between the ditches' on this road to weight management. I either measure or make informed guesses for >95% of what I eat. I started WW after the phone app had been developed and for me, it's been a really helpful tool. While I'm a big advocate in "never throwing away the crayons", the truth is I would not have tracked nearly as completely or diligently with pencil and paper as I do with the app.
I've been between the two places for much of the summer, without food or bathroom scales. At those times when I've weighed in after days or weeks of not doing so, I've been pleased to find myself at or below goal weight.1 -
I'd say mine is about 95% accurate. Food that I prepare and take to work is measured. The food that others prepare is usually my best guess, for example the personal size GF/DF pizza at a work event last night.1

My tracking is very accurate when I'm at home. When given the opportunity, I can scan things in, I can plug in their nutritional information, I can figure out my wife's recipe and put it into the MFP app, etc.
When I'm eating out, however, I never feel confident in my tracking. I make "best guesses" at things for sure, but I always have this feeling in my gut (pun intended) that there are more calories hiding out in a given restaurant meal than I'm actually including in my best-guess.1 -
My weekday tracking is 95-100%. Weekends, especially like the last one with multiple church eat-a-thons, tend to be, "clear the slate, including all weeklies". Of course, that's a big part of my problem.1
