    Because I love the actual donut so much, I especially love the Little Debbie donut sticks. Less calories but you can definitely tell you've eaten something.

    I asked my buddy who grew up in Mastic Beach, he called them 'Black & Whites', the people of "upstate" (I hate that term) call them 'half moons' (the only correct name), in Florida they call them 'half & halfs'.
    You could get them with chocolate or vanilla cookies as well.

    Yeah, I think calling them Black & Whites is a NYC area thing. Honestly, I rarely actually ate them, I just think of them as iconic for a NY bakery. Anytime I have an opportunity to eat something from a "real" bakery, I want it to have some kind of cream filling :tongue:
