I just got my misfit in the mail this evening! I already sycn it to myfitnesspal. This is a big victory for me because now Im offically financially invested in my health. I tend to care more about things I pay for. I don't know if thats just me or not. But hey whatever works right?26

I went out in a Halloween costume all day (time constraints meant I had to wear it from morning) and I worked, ran errands, ate, and went to a festival without feeling anxious about people watching and/or making fun of me.26

I bought a magnetic exercise bike three and a half weeks ago. I thought I was doing pretty good doing weight exercises daily and half hour walks each day. I was surprised I could only ride it for about five minutes after I put it together then I was completely winded. I'm now averaging about a 100 miles per week. My average cadence is between 100 rpm and 110 rpm. I did a 31 minute session this afternoon. I just finished completing a 35 minute session. Two sessions in one day at a good pace. I am pretty happy about that. I haven't had cardio like this in years. Slowly working back to a reasonable level of fitness. I would like to be in the condition I was in my mid 20's. That will take time. Cycling is combined with weights and, hopefully, not eating to much food that will compromise my goals - which is weight loss. I used to be 155 - 160 pounds in my younger years. I currently weigh in at 217 pounds. I have fought diabetes/prediabetes all my life - currently use insulin (watch your sugars). I used to road ride and mountain bike trail ride in my younger years. This exercise bike really helps out - completely quiet, 8 resistance levels, nice comfy seat, and computer tracks trip distance, calories, time, speed, odometer. I am excited to be doing this and achieving goals - don't have to go outside ride in the inclement weather. Better than in 2014 when I was lying in ER, the Doc's telling me I have 10% chance to live. They said if I want to live, I will have to really dig down deep and try. It was really hard lying in that hospital bed and listening to the whispering aspens, when I know I had so many more things I want to do. I'm a few more steps closer to getting to a level I want. Going to take some time, but will get there. I was always really fit, all the way up to my thirties - currently 50yrs old. It feels good to be sweating again, working out and increasing my stamina. Work towards getting back that feeling of being in the 'zone'.33

BEST THING that has happened with all of this was my wife gave me a hug the other day and could reach her arms all the way around me....she commented...told me she was proud of me and hugged me tighter....awesome...cannot put into words what that meant to me --so worth all the food tracking and gym time. Outside of that my cloths are now obviously too big and have moved to the point that I can no longer wear them, so new clothes are on the agenda. Many more but those two things have had the biggest impact on me and motivation to keep working hard.40

1000 day streak today yay! It's also time to reassess my goals and shake up the routine, try out different foods, experiment with other tastes and combinations to ensure I dont fall into a rut..most importantly that I maintain and/or improve on my weight loss achievements so far....next goal 2000 day streak37

I bought a Vivienne Westwood vintage blazer on line, size XS. It was an original and I know how the sizing in these top brands run small. I was scared that it would be too small, but I really wanted it as I had always loved the design.
It arrived in the mail and it does not only fit. It looks amazing!30 -
I did all the jumps instead of the modified move in my body combat class25

It's not your clothes getting more sexy. It's all you!

Went for a bike ride a couple of days ago, hoping that the odometer was going to hit 10,000 miles.
I'm keeping an eye on the odometer as I REALLY want to see the 9,999.9 click over onto 10,000 miles.
So, it goes . . . 9,999.7 . . . . 9,999.8 . . . . .9,999.9 . . . . then 0.00.
I (stupidly) didn't realise that the odometer only went to 9,999.9.
I was devastated. Briefly. Because I was going to stop and take a photo (little things like that make me happy).
My bike and I have now done over 10,000 miles together. It's usually a good relationship, with the odd blip. Usually punctures.44 -
Some pants I tried on a few weeks ago that were too tight to wear now are just a teeny bit snug and I can wear them again!23

I finished c25k today (distance version)! I can run 5k!! This is my third time attempting it and my first time to a) finish and b) not get injured. I think lots of walking over the last 6 months, and lots of stretching/core work (yoga, pilates) on the side, made the difference.
I rewarded myself with a deep tissue massage (ouchie!)!26 -
First day I hit all my rings since the summer! Such a little NSV but it's something!

I fell off the wagon for a while, but I logged today, so that is good. I'm in a really good place psychologically, so I haven't felt as much of a need to exercise for emotional stability, but I probably need to start just so that I am more active.25

Lots today—My three oldest boys (9,6,5) ran their first “real” obstacle race this morning (1.5 miles with 10 obstacles)—they’ve been training on their Ninja Warrior line outside constantly. So great to see them make an achieve fitness goals while having fun!
I kept up with the older two, who finished the course in 13 minutes (including all the obstacles! I wasn’t allowed to do the obstacles, but I ran with them, and they were booking it!). My 6 yo wanted to run the course again and I ran it with him a second time.
And since I couldn’t do the obstacles, I went to the gym to lift afterward, then went out for a night of dancing with my husband. Loving having an active life with my family!
And loved feeling good in a dress I felt bulky and blah in two months ago!32 -
Went out to lunch today and got salad instead of fries as a side!26
