Must fit into that wedding gown!

I'm 20 and getting married next year. I've tried dieting before, going online and looking for 200 calories recipes, low carb, low fat, vegetarian (that was a bust...) The Shangri La diet, ... everything and nothing worked, so I turned to an all female's gym for help. Since then, I have been exercising regularly (2 to 3 times a week and hitting the target heart rate the gym encourages us to) and trying to eat healthy and while my scale didn't drop, my measurements have. However, I still look as chubby as I have been 4 months ago and I really don't understand why.
What I am really looking for is to pin point out my problem to find a faster way to lose weight. Those gym equipment scanning things said that my metabolism rate is that of a 60 yr old woman... -.-. That's terrible, perhaps I should do something about that? Diet wise, I think I'm doing pretty alright, unless I happen to be terribly mistaken... Here's more or less my diet routine:
Breakfast: Mr Bean's 3 in 1 beancurd. 25% sugar. Peanut filling.
Lunch: Yong tau fu. more tou fu for proteins, no noodles, no carbs.
Dinner: Pretty much whatever I feel like eating, and of course, ill make the more sensible choice. Sometimes I do not finish my portion, and sometimes I do.
Fast food: about 2 times a week, usually macs: i'm taking salad mcgrill, minus chicken skin and no dressing.
Drinks: water, cold and SlimSpa detox tea, sugar free.
Again, what I am really looking for is to pin point out my problem to find a faster way to lose weight. I do not understand why I am not slimming down. Please help me =(

I have found that eating little snacks every 2-3 hours works for me to speed up my metabolism. Just a piece of fruit, crackers, yogurt, etc. Also, how many cals are you eating? I was eating 1200 but was wayyyy too hungry and my metabolism slowed down but now I eat about 1500 a day I am losing ALOT MORE weight. Weird, isn't it? :S0

Change up your exercise, and do it more often, you should work out five times a week, the extra time will give you improvements, and never go more than a day in-between exercising, two at the most, hope this helps0

And drink tons of water0 -
Hmmm the last I counted, calories for breakfast and lunch = 450... not a lot and how much can i eat for dinner?
So yea maybe I'm not consuming enough calories, thus my metabolism slowed. Snacks help? I'm currently in the office, the only snack I probably have are digestive biscuits and milo powder (not the 3 in one kinds).
I will try not finishng my food and eat 5 meals a day. >< well 5 meals just cause loads of people are doing that in here.
AND WATER'S A PROBLEM. I just keep forgetting to drink until I actually feel thirsty. I have a bottle of water beside my com screen, and i top it up maybe once a day? :S any advice?0 -
I am 20 too, not getting married though
I have lost 22kgs since January and what I have been doing is strength training with a Personal Trainer 2x a week and cardio every other day or as much as i can fit in. I started my journey with The 30 Day Shred, then i started attending classes as regularly as i could. You should record everything you eat and dont exceed your limit, if you do hopefully you dont exceed by much. If you want it really bad, you will reach your goal! It's time, hard work and a heap of water !
Good luck!0 -
22KGS?!?! wow!!! Congrats on your weight loss!
Btw,what's The 30 Day Shred? and by classes you mean?
And yea I'm starting to record it (like today) and I am starting to see the value of it. And regarding intake limits, I think I'm eating wayyy under the limit and I've had some nice feedbacks (thanks you guys! ) that maybe my metabolism is slowing cause of that. and yes... WATER!!!!0 -
