    A star is born.
I heard people sob all around me at the cinema, but I didn't. I don't know why, I easily get touched by movies and shed tears, but not this time.

    Lion is terrific^

The night comes for us - a Netflix film. Really becoming a fan of Indonesian action films lately. Terrific choreography and cinematography

    +1

    Thoroughly enjoyed Lion.

Girl in the Spiders Web: A new dragon tattoo story As expected.

Nobody's fool ... Tiffany Haddish is REALLY loud. If you aren't attuned to people like her. She is graphically funny. She is the female Kate Williams. Lol.

We had decided to watch this first before The girl in the Spider Web. Haddish's character, Tanya, mind whipped all the church outta my brain. Lol. Crazy funny, only more romantic drama than actual comedy hah! Hah!

Watched Here and Now last weekend. Thought it pitiful that Sarah J Parker failed to acquire an accent coach or even be more committed delivering the short French phrases. Wasn't convincing with her French, most especially with a mother like Jacqueline Bisset's character and her slated ability to sing in French. I certainly wouldn't have cast her for the role.

    Jacqueline Bisset was flawless.

I finally got around to watching No Country For Old Men.
Wow, not sure how I felt about the ending but getting there was entertaining.

    Tiger

My inner Punjabi couldn't be more proud of the retelling of Canadian boxer Pardeep Nagar's story.

It is a rarity when an athlete's intimate, closely observed family portrait juxtaposed with personal sporting pursuits is woven, effortlessly and discreetly unfolds to disclose a capacious social vision his Coach, played Mickey Rourke initially saw in the temperamental young Sikh - his truth, his belief, his love of boxing.

**Much like Sylvester Stallone, there isn't a Mickey Rourke movie I have not seen.
