02/02 -131 - (I expected this. Had meal with friend yesterday. Place we were going to eat and I had planned meal for, was full for once (It's our usual). Happens maybe once a year in our meet-ups. So went somewhere nearby and didn't know the nutrition of anything, so had to guess what was best. Couldn't resist some calamari my friend ordered, so in total I doubled my allowance of carbs for the day at approx 40g net. Was good in cals. So a bit of water, should go down. )

27th Round for me: Female 65, height 5’
Goal this round: To get out of the 160’s or at least consistently not above 160. Right now even ½ lb. per round would seem great. This is the same goal as last round. Was feeling discouraged until I looked at a year ago and realized that I’m only down 4 lb. but I have established a “new normal.” I’m at the upper range of that the beginning of this round. Before starting at the gym and then joining this group, I was gaining about 5 lb. a year. So all my changes have me close to the 150’s instead of into the 170’s.

Ultimate Goal Weight – 128; Hoping to be under 140 by end of June. (Not sure if this is possible for me but even well down in the 150’s would be better than where I am at now.)

Weight:
Short Term Goal: Lose 2 pounds this round.
First Long Term Weight Goal: To weigh 180 by Valentine’s Day 💗💗💗 I hope to achieve this by losing about 1.5 pounds per week (or 2 lbs per round).
My Second Long Term Weight Goal: To weigh 160 by my Birthday on May 10th by sticking to my plan to lose 1.5 pounds per week (or 2 lbs per round).
My third Long Term Weight Goal: To weigh 150 by the 4th of July using the same plan as above.
Exercise:
During each Weight goal I plan on doing cardio in the form of dancing at aerobic levels whenever possible. I would also like to walk as much as possible although walking outside is impossible for me this time of year.

02/02 ….. 186.9 ….. Same as yesterday on the scale. I ate back my 222 calories from exercise. Over on the carbs, but not too bad. I kept my bun on my hamburger because I was so hungry. I should have planned differently. I burned 2437 calories overall. 11,640 total steps & 5.12 miles overall. 13/13 fitbit step hours. I slept 6 hours 26 minutes which is great for me. No dancing (frown) but I did take a brisk walk indoors at the school for 34 minutes. I stopped on my way past when I saw the school was open for some type of meeting (cars in parking lot). Update: My sister’s kidneys are showing some improvement today. They hope she’ll be off the ventilator tomorrow. No hope for her heart with multiple blockages which they say is inoperable so if she can make it in the short term we just don’t know how long it might be. She will have to move & live with her daughter if she can make it out of the hospital. She has pneumonia now & an unexplained infection which they are now trying to track. Thanks for the prayers & hugs. I am back to dancing today. I have already put in a set of almost an hour. Back to work now, but I will be dancing again this evening & hope some of you will join me. @quiltingjaine thanks for checking in on me last round! I ended up with extreme stress, overate, and then was too scared to even look at the scale but I snapped out of it and am back

luckily I didn’t gain, just stayed steady from the prior round.

02/04 181.6 Sigh. In the past year, I’ve made very little progress. I’ve lost 10 lbs, then gained five and lost and gained those same five for eight months. To tell the truth, sometimes I wonder why I log and report on this site. Truthfully, the reporting reflects my effort. It’s not like I’ve watched every morsel or even made great strides with exercise. In the end, I suppose, keeping track has stopped my monumental weight gain in its tracks and that’s something. I have 50 pounds to lose, gained over years of raising kids, job and marriage stress and just plain having too many birthdays. While the actual weight loss has been a failure so far, I’m going to count my of my issues and stopping the rolling weight gain as a win. In April, I will start a new MFP year, let’s see what I can do by then.

My prospects had been looking pretty bleak, but I did actually see January's goal of 149 on 1/30, even though I ended the 10 days at 151. 02/02 - 150 -- Looking to see that elusive 149 again, but this is in the right direction! Yesterday I walked, did strength class and yoga. Then I donated blood and ate some carbs, but not too many! Hoping to continue last 10 days good trend and get back on track for my mini-goals. Although I realized I might have to revise them anyway as I somehow planned on keeping up a pound a week loss right up to goal weight. It might make more sense to aim for 1/2 pound a week as I move from 145 to 135!

02/02 143 Today is my 200th day as a part of MFP.. woohoo! Had a little gain today because I gave in and had cereal late last night. I'm part of a group here where we set a goal to do 24 hrs of exercise in 28 days this month. I'm going to try and stick with it. I know I should have good results this month if I do.
