New to community

Hi everyone.
As the title says, I’m new to the community but not mfp.
From jan 17 to june18 I managed to lose almost 4stone via tracking calories. Unfortunately I then gained 2.5 stone back. I’m now sitting at 12st2lb (170lb)
I know what I need to do but I don’t seem to be able to be consistent and just do what I need to.
My partner lost 9stone, left his job as a chef and became a qualified personal trainer.
Neither of us used things like slimming world or ww as we don’t find these helpful - knowing that we need to understand calories etc.
I’m 34 and a mum to 3 (12, 9, 6) and live in the uk
I’m hoping to find people to have general chat as well as support and motivation. Yeah have 18months to be at my goal weight and to have kept it stable ready for our wedding in 2020
I go to the gym- I aim for minimum of twice a week and anymore is a bonus
