Welcome to our noobs for December @3kidsmom1 @etherealanwar @prehistoricmoongoddess @rachelatlas1
Congratulations to @prehistoricmoongoddess our biggest loser for December and also to @tanyanie11 and @tonadayuu with great results for the month.
Another big well done goes to our biggest loser for 2018 (of those who have stuck it out until the end of the year) @MegansMom2011 who has lost a whopping 26.6lbs.
Happy New Year - Set yourself some goals for 2019 and smash them!
Thank you for the progress report and so surprised to see I am the biggest loser for my first month!
I weight myself today and was really disappointed to find that so far I've not lost weight at all this month, but the progress report has inspired me to keep going.
@prehistoricmoongoddess there will be weeks or even a couple of weeks like that, just keep at it and don't worry unless there's no change over 4 -6 weeks.2 -
January Progress Reports
Welcome to members new and returning for 2019.
Well done to @danipatt1216 (sorry realised there's a typo in your name on the chart) who is the biggest loser for January and also a big well done to @captaintrips27 @tbduarte1 @emma013 with fantastic losses for January.
A couple of things for our newer members to bear in mind:- Weight loss isn't linear, don't expect to see a loss on the scale every week, there may be weeks when despite logging accurately and feeling like you've done everything right, you won't see it reflected on the scale. That doesn't necessarily mean you're doing anything wrong, there's just more to your bodyweight than fat.
- Don't expect to see the big drops from the beginning throughout your weight loss, when you first start to lose weight you will likely see a bigger drop in bodyweight, this isn't all fat, some of this is water.
- A healthy rate of loss is around 1-2lbs per week, less if you're already in a healthy weight range.

Thanks @tinkerbellang83
I feel like I'm destined to be forever 2nd place and never 1st 😭. I'm hungry for the win 🥇 (although not enough to actually work harder 😂).0 -

Ah but the difference is you're close to goal and those who are usually top of the charts are those who are just starting our or have a lot to lose, so no point in comparing your achievements.
If I were to lose 10lbs that would be barely 4% of my weight, for you it would be closer to 6% which wouldn't be healthy. With the amount you have to lose, you wouldn't want to be aiming for more than 2% per month really.1 -
Biggest Loser for June is @caninetrix Well Done with 10.6lbs lost.
Congratulations to all for losses in June, but particular mention to @amskinner87 @chris_in_cal and @eatingems
Welcome back @NewTaxi and @JustinHeasman4 -

Hi. i am new and am glad I found a weekly weigh in group. I am hoping it will help me with accountability. I lost 40 pound in 2 year then gained 20 pounds back in one year after I quit counting calories.
SW: 200
CW 217.5
GW: 165 (my first goal since I am only 5.2 feet tall.)
Personal goal are to get to the gym 3 times per week for weight training instead of 2. Do cardio 3 times per week starting at 5 minutes on the elliptical (i had a prior injury with cardio so I need start slowly) and keep slowly increasing. Thanks.
