So a while ago I had a falling out with one of my female friends. I use to complain to him about her. But after a few months, I tried to fix my friendship with that female friend. He told me th at if I was going to do that, he didn't want me to ever bring her up again because he didn't wanna hear about it. So one night, this female friend asked me to go get a drink with her at a local bar. I said okay and we went. I posted a picture of our drinks onto Snapchat. He saw the pictures and started asking me " who are you out with?!! How come you didn't tell me you were going out?!" And I responded to him that I was out with a female friend at the bar. But I didnt tell him which female friend it was. He later found out which friend it was and he go super mad about it.. Saying that I was keeping things from him and that he doesn't trust me anymore... He assumed I was cheating on him with some guy but I wasn't. I was just doing what he had asked.. To not bring her up again.
for a 36 year old man - he's got a lot of issues going on. he's not mature, has anger management problems, and doesn't seem to express himself very well. the more you share, i hope the more you recognize that you're better off without him. either get or don't get your stuff *everything is replaceable - really* - and MOVE ON, girl. if he threatens you - get a restraining order. my mother and i were the survivors of physical abuse from my *father* so i'm hardcore on this.7 -
@ButterIsGood Don't go get your stuff from his place with or without backup. Leave it. He sounds nuts. You'll probably find whatever you left at his place burning on your front lawn at this point anyway.

Do you REALLY need to collect your stuff? I would just replace everything (if possible at all) and cut all contact. Immediately. It may seem hard now, but it'll be better in the long run.4

Who is this person????? Clearly she isn't you. Is this the friend? And if he feels so strongly about this friend, then something tells me they have been talking regularly. Maybe it's just at work, but still.
If all your stuff at his place is replaceable, then replace it. Don't go back for it. It's not worth it. Be glad you no longer work with him. Delete and block him. He only gets to continue insulting you if you let him. Don't let him.5 -

I think the same personality person is me... I'm nothing like him. Im mostly calm and quiet and don't like fighting. Maybe he's talking about thr right personality for him to bully.5 -

I agree with the others who said take the police with you to get your stuff. If it is nothing irreplaceable, forget the stuff.2
