This was a "new to me" to me used DVD and I loved it! Great fast-paced soundtrack, I didn't get bored at all. I found it to be really fun and it was over fast. Loved the longer stretch session and the music there, too. So glad I found this for a bargain at $3!

LOL it does not look like I will make this month's goal since it is doubtful I will walk 25.2 miles today! However, I am cleaning my house so who knows!
AnnofB Oh my gosh! I hope your DH is on the mend! It is amazing what they can do now without cutting people open. My husband has a long appendix removal scar from when he was a child.
Everyone is doing so great meeting their goals this month!!! Bravo to all of you!
For me, this month has turned out to be more of an issue than I expected when it started!
First, I had to spend more time on computer than I anticipated. My college was preparing for our accrediting body's visit to the campus and any of you who have ever been involved in that process know that everyone goes crazy when the accreditors are coming to campus! Of course, they did not get here until the 26th and 27th so they ruined my whole month!!!
Then, we went to NY and worked on our house, which increases strength, but not miles! :grumble:
Then on March 12, my grandson was born in Netherlands so grandma spent a ton of time on Face Time (check out those low miles on 3/13!) getting to know the little guy. 9 lbs, 14 oz- :noway: Bless my daughter-in-law!!!!
Then, as you all mentioned the feakin' time changed!!!! Whose dumb idea is this????????? I cannot tell you how much I HATE IT!!! What is wrong with EST?????? My husband sent me a page that said the reason it has begun so early is because retailers lobbied Congress to move it earlier in March because when it is light after work, people shop more and retailers make more money. So, we need to stop the after work shopping people!!!! We need a movement to stop this nonsense! :explode:
I am finally back to a routine and hoping April will be much better as I have big plans for April!
Walk Strong Everyone! :bigsmile:2 -
@zichab, you really had the deck stacked against you this month!
How wonderful about that baby boy!
I bet working on the house was a nice change from all that office stress. (Regarding being accredited: I worked for a medical supply company. They had to be accredited every 2 years to do business with Medicare and Medicaid. It created a lot of extra work and a more than a little anxiety. )
Yes, the time change is farce. It doesn't work. In fact, more people have heart attacks after "springing forward." We need to start now to find a presidential candidate to get the time change thing under control. It's crazy. I guess we need to get behind a candidate who's platform is "NO MORE TIME CHANGING!" Here's some fuel for our fire:
'Daylight saving time linked to heart attacks: study" ( I found this by searching for "study about rise in heart attacks after springing forward daylight saving time" It's an article on Reuter's websight. It so happens that there was a study done in Michigan hospitals.
My DH is doing great. Surger went well and and he's being a model patient.

Oh my gosh, Ann, I just quickly read a piece in Men's Health and they also said DST was highly connected to strokes, traffic accidents and increases in suicides and it has not shown to save any energy!! As a result, both Florida and California are on the docket to get rid of it. If California goes, you can be sure the rest of the nation will not be far behind.
I have no idea why everyone gets in such a dither over accreditation when we already know our weak points from the report we have to send in ahead of time. You got Medicare and Medicaid and we get Pell Grants and federal student loans and let's face it, that is really what it is all about. The only good thing about it is that students can transfer our courses to any institution accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and since they are huge, that is a lot of colleges. Ours is every 10 years and I am grateful that this is my last one!! Retirement is looking better all the time.
The little guy is such a sweetie! He eats, sleeps and squeaks. LOL Since all my granddaughter did was cry, they hardly know what to do with him and keep checking to be sure he is alive. Netherlands has such good care though so all is well with them both.
I am glad to know your husband is OK! It is scary when husbands are not well.3 -
I'm totally on board to assist in any way to stop the time change! I absolutely hate it as well!

20 miles under goal is just not acceptable and probably explains the pounds creeping on! I am on them and they are going to be blasted off in April!!
Walk Strong Eveyone! :bigsmile:1 -
@zichabcongratulations on your precious new grand baby. You sure did have a tough March, but I'm confident that you will indeed blast away those pounds, especially by walking them away . Leslie's WATP Ultimate Collection DVD was my very first Leslie DVD I purchased. The 4 Mile Super Challenge is my ultimate walk on that disk, as well as one of my favorites
When I lived in Arizona they did not have daylight savings, according to another transplanted family
member that lived there when we moved there, the locals were heard to say that they have enough daylight, so no need to save any.
I've long heard about the increase in accidents in the beginning of the spring change.
Here's to a better month for you

Thank you so much Mary. Sometimes I think I just have to remember to count my blessings. I have a career I love, a husband and 2 sons that I love and 4 grandchildren. So many people have less.
I'd have no problem with DST if it accomplished what it says it does, but in fact it doesn't so your Arizona family was right! More and more studies and research show the problems with it are not offset by the advantages. I hope California and Florida join Arizona and I will do what ever I can to get NY to join as well and sooner or later, we will stop this DST madness!!! I could actually live with it if it started later, but early March is NUTS!
I LOVE LOVE LOVe the WATP Ultimate Collection more and more. I also love the 4 mile Super Challenge or maybe I just love seeing old friends like Linda, Mary Kay and Joanne!
Moving into April!
