MFP & Fitbit Extra Calories !?

Hi All,
I log all my food via MFP and use to use my iPhone to track my steps. The last 2 days I am using a Fitbit Inspire HR and have synced with MFP, however am having an issue with extra calories?
Today I did 13,600 steps and Fitbit added 1,684 extra calories earned to my MFP.
Last week I did 9,600 steps and my iPhone only added 140 extra calories?
Can anyone explains what's up with this? The Fitbit data appears to be adding the wrong amount of extra calories to MFP. Surely 13,600 steps doesn't equate to 1684 extra calories to be eaten? This is also at the end of the day as I'm crawling into bed?
Anyone have any advice here please?

What’s your activity level set to? 13,000 steps would be close to Active.
With MFP and activity trackers like Fitbit/Garmin/ect the adjustment is a comparison of Total Calories burned and is not directly related to steps at all. The iOS adjustments are strange and often a lot lower than what you would see from other trackers.
Fitbit Calorie Burn - MFP NEAT Burn = + or - adjustment
For example on Sedentary MFP expects me to burn 1670 without exercise.
Yesterday my tracker estimated I burned 2183 for the day.
2183 - 1670 = 513
So I should see 513 extra calories. Step wise I only had 6,987 steps, but I did do some workouts that were not step based but still contributed to my overall calories burned.

It does seem high to me. For comparison I also use a fitbit and today I walked the dog for 1.5 km, treadmill for 20 minutes, and stationary bike for 20 minutes (totalled about 11,000 steps) and fitbit gave me 616 calories. I am set to sedentary.0

I read an article either on here or the Fitbit website that says Fitbit takes a couple of days to set up properly, so you should ignore your first 72 hours of syncs.
I usually do 10k steps per day, it started giving me over 1k extra cals then after a few days it went down to 400.
I decided just to switch off the extra calorie feature on MFP because I didn't plan to each those calories back anyway.0
