This week's success: Put on a pair of jeans that a few months ago were uncomfortably tight, and now they are loose enough for my partner to notice them as being loose.

This week's challenges: I've been struggling with motivation, stress in my home life, am not in a good pattern at the moment and just treading water. My weight went up for most of the past week but came back down in the last two days.
  • @vanillachaipwns That's great! Congrats one reaching onederland! :flowerforyou:

This happened to me too, a couple months ago when giving blood for tests! It sure took me by surprise. I'm not squeamish, but must have been a drop in blood pressure or something, sure gave the nurse a fright!

Funniest thing was, right as I came back to consciousness (it was only a second or two that I blacked out), I was on the floor on my knee, and the nurse was asking "are you alright?" and I was still saying "I'm fine.". The desire not to cause a fuss!

I have to do more blood tests in a month, and I'm a little worried what it will be like. The nurse had a hard time finding my veins to start with and I had to go back 3 times as there were some issues (first time the nurse on duty couldn't find my veins & they are only allowed to try twice; second time I found out that the tests needed to be done before 9am for cortisol reading and I was there a little too late; third time I fainted). Hopefully the weight I've lost will make a positive difference.

Success and challenges: Tracking my calories again. Every time I stop, so does the scale lol. I also purchased a new scale that tracks more than just weight. It syncs to an app and I am loving it. Very enlightening to see body fat etc. I look forward to watching those charts trend down as well!

Getting to the gym is harder and harder with competing family schedules and the warming weather! So the challenge is to find stuff to do outside that can meet my physical goals, but also be acceptable activities for the family.

If you do this.... lose one pound a week next New Year’s Eve you will have accomplished a significant goal.

I have used this Challenge the past two years as a means to focus my WL effort on an achievable weekly goal. I lost 30 pounds in 2017 and although I did not meet my goal in 2018, I found this challenge kept me accountable.

Join in if you're ready to do it this for the next 52 weeks, one pound at a time.

Get In exercise, eat healthy, veggies, fruit & protein... Beware of your portions and mindlessly eating when you’re not really hungry, just bored.

Share your successes and challenges. You are not alone in this journey. We are all working towards goal.

Weigh in weekly... or daily... whatever works for you. Just copy the information below and paste it in your post.

Welcome to the 2019 Lose 52 Pounds in 52 Weeks Challenge.
