What is your "Petty" Reason to Lose Weight?

My petty reason at the moment is a family holiday in August. I've never been the largest out of my group of friends, but I am out of my extended family.6

Just to name a few....
1. I don't want to be the fat executive that works for a sports team where pretty much everyone is in moderately decent shape if not an athlete (currently I'm the fat executive that works for a sports team where everyone is in moderately decent shape if not an athlete)
2. I like to shop designer second hand - I want to be able to buy more than just handbags and sunglasses
3. I want to be in better shape when I turn 40 then I did when I turned 3016 -

Yes on the designer second hand. The best stuff is always size S or XS (probably because fewer and fewer people can fit into those sizes!).9 -
Super petty reasons
- To get the man I've been dating casually for 1.5 years to look at me as a keeper.
- Fit into my cute wardrobe again and look good this summer
- to look better and weigh less than my snobby "friend" who likes to always point out that I am fatter (by 20lbs) *Healthy competition.
- to do a lingerie photo shoot and LOVE it

To look fine as hell in my wedding dress10

Oh I’ve got more now haha
To NOT weigh more than my (6’5” tall) husband
To be able to do things that have a weight limit that I currently exceed (like ride a horse)
To not have an issue with airplane seatbelts - I’ve actually never had a problem with this AT ALL until last November and it was embarrassing and uncomfortable cause let me tell you I 100% sucked it in and maneuvered myself until that stupid thing buckled without an extender.10 -
To enjoy clothes shopping and look hot. To get the looks. To look in the mirror and think "damn I look good." To feel sexy and show it.6

I'm 67, my petty reason is because I want to be the thinnest one in my graduation class, Class of 69!18

Either the clothes, or to piss off my sister (who thinks she's the pretty one, bc God forbid more then one family member be attractive? But she deadass went on a diet after our mother had wls bc her spot was being 'threatened'), not sure which comes out on top.8

I'd like to weigh less than my husband (within reach now) and I'd really like someone to say to me "you're looking a bit thin - maybe you should stop now!"8

My sister lost a bunch of weight several years ago and my aunt/uncle/cousin all oo’d and ahh’d at her when my sister and I went to visit them. I had lost more than 20 pounds but nobody gave me any compliments. Next month the same aunt/uncle/cousin - who live in a different state and who we haven’t seen in several years - are coming here to visit my sister and I will be there also. I want some compliments this time.9

I want to go in and buy a top or dress and not try to figure out which jacket I can wear over it to camouflage problem areas22

My oldest son is getting married in October. I hate having my picture taken the way I look now, so I want to not shy away from the photographer at his wedding.8

Because growing up I’ve always been the “gross ugly chick” who people didn’t want to be seen with. It’s weird I’ve already noticed a difference of how I’m treated only just being halfway through my weight loss journey alone.18

I dont want to be the most recent fat mom in a long line of fat moms in my family.8

To be smoking hot when I turn 50 in October! To be able to go clothes shopping and not look like a whale in a dress!10

I love this! When I first started my weight loss it was to fit into the seats on the roller coasters at amusement parks.3 -
