Just sent mine. Short. Succinct.

"Jessica,
Please let me know if there is anything we need to meet about concerning Retirement and we can set up a meeting. Please acknowledge this as my formal announcement to retire. July 31, 2019. Noon.

Can’t stay past Noon. My wife is retiring on the same day and I want to attend the celebration for her at her work."

It's official now. I'm not retiring until July 31. 79 days from today, but after you subtract, Holidays, Weekends and a 2 and a half week Motorcycle run, I actually only have 42 days.

And, since I only go on line at work, I won't be around MFP after July 31st, so I just want to say that I am glad I got to share with all of you and that I have got to gain some of the insight you have all provided.

I'll still be looking in on you until then, though.

    It's definitely real now. I emailed my wife to let her know I gave my notice and she sent me a copy that she just sent out.
