Hey Peeps! Reporting from the 'burbs of KC w/questions of supplements. Thought my food choices are pretty regular, this program confirms However, I wondered if supplements have caloric content & are they even necessary?

Depends on what you mean exactly by supplements. But in general, for an otherwise healthy person, supplementation is not necessary and you can get everything you need from the food you eat. Depending on the type of supplements it may have calories or not.2

I eat plenty of leafy greens, veggies, etc. Many days I feel like I'm eating too much. Other days, 'fitnesspal' says I'm not eating enough. That's why I asked the question. I eat to the capacity of 'comfort' for my body type, daily activity, etc. Thanks, Mike!0
