This is why you don't want a Pass Day to become a Cheat Day. When you allow yourself an unrestrained blowout, you don't maintain; you don't lose; you gain weight.

Exercised?: Yes. (5km in 39 mins)
Calories?: Yes
Tracked?: Yes
Early finish to work today to go to parents for dinner. Good to catch up befor they spend 3 months away.
Home after midnight, straight to bed, which is why no post.
Managed walk in the morning before work got busy.
Looks like my work will be changing which will likely mean a lot more travel. Fortunately my eating and exercise habits are portable.

Faster walk today. Pushed speed to ensure I missed the rain. Good workout.
Drone race competition tomorrow. Predicted rain is not due till evening, but is supposed to be windy. Hope the forecast holds.
@RangerRickL. and all.
Pass days are OK, but they are not free license to go crazy and eat 2 times your daily limit. There is a reason for 3 a month and not 8.
Oddly enough, you get the point you feel bad when you overeat (or eat foods that do you no good). Once you have good habits established, listen to your body. You start to notice when things do not feel right.
Ideally on a pass day its either a little over, a little less "exercise" or not tracking. Enjoy life, friends, family, celebrations, etc.. However, by keep closer to normal on pass days, the path back to being on track is not as long.

@craigo3154 5km walked in 37 minutes IS a fast walk. I’ve run it at that speed!
I’ve been meaning to ask about drone regulations where you are. Here, TransportCanada will require drone pilots to have a licence after June 1/19. It’s supposed to be very difficult to pass the test to get the licence.4 -

I don't believe in 'cheat' days! I make considered choices, and accept the consequences of those choices. There is no cheating involved. I, and no one else, am responsible for my actions.

Exercised: 24K steps (including my 5K Race)
Calories: Yes
Tracked: Yes
It’s Race Weekend here in Ottawa, and I ran the 5K with a personal best of 30:37! This is almost a minute and a half faster than my previous chipped personal best (which was in 2011), and it’s six minutes faster than last year’s time (where I wasn’t in nearly as good shape and did run/walk intervals).
Feeling accomplished today! (And while I did have a waffle with ice cream and berries as a treat this evening, it was worked into my day and balanced out with my other food choices. Working hard to always remind myself that I can still enjoy treat foods in moderation without going off the rails and undoing my hard work.)
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!8 -

As to cheat days, I never have planned ones, but occasionally I have what I call “accidental refeed” days. I try to look at them as an insignificant blip, possibly even positive (if my hunger hormones got reset), and carry on.
Unfortunately all control goes out the window when I find myself overwhelmed/stressed. We’re talking cheat weeks or even months. My only solution for that has been to avoid that situation, protect myself from stress as much as possible. This past winter it was unavoidable and I regained 15lbs.7 -

3 X’s Yes. 60 minute kickboxing. Way to far under on calories, barely ate today. I under eat when I’m super busy, still working on that.
I don’t call them cheat days but about 4 times a year my husband and I have decadent weekends. We are ultra low carb all of the time because of my husband’s health issues so we kind of need our little carb oasis to look forward to.
It’s not for everyone but our lifestyle works for us.5 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, walking around a jamboree then a couple more hours at the zoo with the kids.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes

Pass days used 2/3.
Thanks for the insight on pass days not being cheat days. I need to remember not to throw all caution to the wind on these days. This is my first month tracking (and UAC), and I am learning so much from you all!6 -
Today was a beautiful day to be outside and do lots of spring chores and walking. I walked more than 20 minutes plus lots more lifting and carrying.
Tracking: ok
Calories: under my limit barely6 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? 6 mile run this morning, followed by 2+ miles walking around a county fair -- ending the day with over 25K steps.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes and under
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yep!
@fitphoenix -- Congrats on your 5K -- that's an awesome time!
Saturdays are generally my cheat days because I run long (5+ miles) and, quite honestly, I need to eat more those days. I do try to not eat anything too horrible, and I need to start doing a better job of that.5 -

3 x yes, thanks to a bike ride that earnt me sufficient calories so that my attack of the 'munchies' didn't send me over.
That's 11 pass days, 14 non-pass days. Will I be able to keep it up today? Tomorrow is a planned pass day, not that I'm going to be a total pig, just that I won't be tracking dinner.2 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, walk with the hubby
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? No, holiday weekend at the lake is providing a lot of temptation. Will do better tomorrow. ☹️
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes, and it showed me how bad some foods really are!!!3 -
Yes,yes,yes.
Long walk + replaced the live-well pump on my fishing boat. Lots of squats and standing on my head trying to reach tight places. I wish the rain would stop so I could get out and test it. (I know, rain should not stop me, but wind does.)5 -

Tracked- Yes, water 144💦
If I use a pass day it’s usually because i didn’t exercise 20 min continuously. If I splurge, maybe eat too much of something, I reign it in, get back on track. Funny, these days to look at my food log and what I think isn’t that great a day is tons better than before I really watched my macros, fiber and protein, intake, worked on increasing fruits, veggies and lots of water 💦 So a cheat day isn’t going nuts for me, still being mindful of my choices and logging them. Great topic!1 -

Exercise was being in the garden, weeding, watering, puttering around for nearly an hour.
@terryrichardson112 - you summed up my feelings about cheat days beautifully. Well done!1
