Versa exercise issues with MFP

I have my Versa linked to MFP and I have the negative calorie option on. My steps do link to from Fitbit to MFP under exercise however, when I do workouts and use my Versa exercise app on my Versa the exercise does not sync over to MFP. Do I need to physically add my actually exercise into MFP or is that all calculated in my actual steps that transfer over?

    Fitbit does NOT send workouts to MFP.

    It sends Total Calories burned - and that contains your workout.

    It's accounted for correctly in that figure.

    Steps is merely a figure for viewing, like weight or water drank.
