I used to keep an extra pair of glasses for doing HIIT cardio or running. Bouncy glasses makes a person ill!4 -

Guy on my long run loop who I believe was just walking through (public park with houses on one side and a road towards a more business district on the other side) commented that he wished he had my stamina. He then asked how many I was going to do and the look on his face when I said "I dont know, somewhere between 15 and 16 (miles)!" Also I did it! 17 miles knocked out.18

My underbust went from 28 to 30, and my waist from 28 to 27. My muscles are growing and my waist is shrinking! Recomp is working!17

I went out to dinner last night, to a restaurant with delicious bottomless fries (Red Robin ) and I didn't eat a single one. I got a burger but opted for a side salad. That's a huge deal!!28

@gradchica Looking awesome! Heck yeah! Stripes are something I wouldn’t have considered in the past, nor would tucking in!!!!
My NSV, I have started running. It isn’t pretty. Haven’t run since the 70’s. Have been beating myself up about how tired it makes me, and how slow I am.
I volunteer “sidewalking” special needs kids during horse therapy riding sessions. My job is to make sure the kids don’t fall off. New instructor and new kid to me. The little girl was confident (yay, her!!!!!!) and wanted to trot. Instructor looked at me and said, “You look like you can run. You up for this?”
Ended up running several laps around the ring, through sand in heavy boots, holding its heavy head up and back by the nose guard in case it got too rambunctious, all while making sure my feet didn’t get stepped on! The girl was thrilled.
Totally made those running sessions worth it!

My new favorite dessert is McDonald's vanilla ice cream cone. When I ordered mine, and my hubs was preparing to pay for it...she looked me up and down and guess what she said??!!??
She said, "I'm giving you this ice cream cone for FREE!" I said, WHAT?!? Why? She said "because I just want to". I said, no baby, that's okay and she said she's not taking the money, because she wants me to have it for free, just "because"!!!!!!
Wow--Thank you Lord, SUCH favor He gives me with people ALL the time--YAY! So I got it for FREE and it was extra good. Super YUMMY NSV!9 -

My university grad ring fits. I've never worn it, it literally never went past my joint, but I've always wished I could.

I've been going to a kickboxing class at my gym since last September. At class the other day, the instructor excitedly said that I was half the person I was when I started. I've lost about 15 pounds since then, which never seemed like very much compared to the 70 that I've lost overall, so it's good to know that the changes are visible to other people even when I feel like the scale has barely moved.11

There's fat in your eyeball, socket, around the muscles that control your focus. It's a legitimate side effect of weight loss that it changes your eyesight. Make sure you get yours looked at so you don't make your eyes worse by using the wrong prescription long term.
Close enough to being correct in explanation to be definitely be correct in conclusion. Heed the advice and get reexamined if you (anyone reading) ever notice vision changes with weight loss.

I realized this morning as I was standing in my closet deciding what to wear, I now actually enjoy, even look forward to, getting dressed. For the past several years as my weight increased, I dreaded getting dressed. What still fits? What looks least frumpy? Same old fat body, same old fat clothes, same miserable experience! Yuck - what a terrible way to begin each day. And worst of all, I never realized what a negative ritual this had become. After buying new clothes that fit (both style and size), giving away all my old clothes (bad vibes), and cleaning out my closet top to bottom (organized and cheerful), I love my morning ritual. I'm grateful for this amazing body, life, and ability to love myself enough to take care of myself (physically and mentally). 💞💃🏼😋🏋️♀️💥24

This is fantastic, and I can totally relate! I finally have an organized closet filled with clothes I enjoy wearing. I get to choose my outfits based on function and mood rather than putting on whatever is least tight and unflattering.
My big NSV today was that at the gym my hubby took a video of my back as I was doing [assisted] pull-ups, and my back/shoulder muscles are popping out. I've never been this strong or shapely before. Feels great!17 -
Had 2 people notice my weight loss at a charity event this week, which was kinda nice.
I also noticed that my resting heart rate has gone from 75 to 60 *grins*22 -
New sports bra time. Back to a small (34.5-36" band) from a very stretched out medium (36.5-38) since I was closer to 40 than 38 for at least some part of the last couple years, lol. I might actually miss the higher pit fat coverage of the larger bra, tho. Happy the breasts are shrinking on schedule as ready to welcome the small ones back, even if perma-saggy (ptosis) now.
One pair of stretched out shorts too large, one size smaller not stretched out pair too small. Hoping will start fitting better in 2-3 weeks.
