I'm a trail runner when I go places I can't take my bike. The first time I tried it, I was shocked how much fun it is. Don't tell anyone.

I do about 25% of my runs on trails, mostly because I live in Constable Country and the prettiest views are on the trail runs.

Triathlete here :) I've only done road tris but I'm hoping to do a few local Xterra races next year. I love all things tri (okay I tolerate swimming...lol). Since my last tri was in May I've jumped into more mtbing and trail running.

Trail runner here! I am only running 1day/week, but I've been doing it for the past 7 years (other stuff on the other days). I am lucky enough to live near a state park so I don't have to run on pavement ever :)

Love it . . but I broke my ankle on a tree root last November . . . so I have been officially banned from trail running ever since. LOL

Spartan athlete...does that count? We run in the woods, up mountains, swim, lift heavy stuff and throw spears.

I used to love trail running but...no access here in the city-it's a drive if I want to do that.
However, I'm hoping to do a sprint Tri maybe in the fall or next spring.

What about you OP? What do you do? Is there a related discussion or question?
Some tris include trail running rather than road running, specifically Xterra brand.

Does the offer extend to allowing mediocre swimmers to draft behind you in an IM swim? Asking for a friend. ;)
