Women 200lb+, Let's Aim High This July!!!

I exercised every day, but I had too many high calorie days. I’m up 2 1/2 pounds from the beginning of the month and don’t see myself hitting my weight goal. Ramping up the weight training always increases my hunger. I have to manage myself better when I’m at parties and even on cheat days and I have to make sure I eat higher protein. Sets me up for my August goals I guess.4

I weighed in this morning at 205.6. I actually made my goal for the month! Tomorrow will be the real test to see if I stay or go lower, but I'm super proud of myself! Ive got the Keto headache though. I had under 20g net carbs last night and like 5g of sugar, so my body is hating me right now. Hopefully this will all pass soon. Now to go take a Tylenol.5

My weight goal for July is 245! I'll be on vacation during the third week, so that may add to the challenge.
Non weight goals include:
biking to work at least 3x/week
riding 30+ miles each week
exploring now bike paths around town
strength exercises at least 2x/week
keep on logging food
July 31: 242.3, -7.6 lbs. hooray!
I've been averaging 40 miles a week on my bike, and found some awesome new paths! excited to keep this going.5 -
I ended the month with only -2lbs lost. A lot less than I was shooting for but better than gaining I guess. Going to have to step it up in August!3

Focusing on the calorie intake will get you more results even if you reduce the exercise. Consider working out 4 days a week only, and reduce the cals. If the working out makes you extra hungry, as you have suggested it is counter productive. I don't know your weight -so I'm unclear on your current situation, if you are already fairly close to your goal weight, it might not make that big a deal, but if you are 50 lbs away, it might mean focusing on the cals and reducing the exercise might get you more results. Just my 2c.1 -
Lost 11/2lbs down to 193lbs goal for this month was 195lbs new goal weight 190lbs5
