I've only lost 35 pounds in the last 1.25 years, which wouldn't normally be that noticeable on someone my size. I attribute it to the gym as well; my shape is changing.
Also, I'm wearing work slacks that were pretty snug on me 35 pounds ago. I looked in the mirror this morning and they are officially too baggy to look presentable, so I need to retire them.
SUPER YAY YOU! You winner you and BOOM!3 -
Walking into work this morning and asking for the raise I deserve and getting it, plus some.
I am 100% sure when I was much heavier I wouldn't have been able to do this. Along the way I have learned to manage my (lifelong, severe) anxiety much better as well and I know this was a key factor. When I was younger and less healthy, I didn't have as much confidence.45 -
Last night, I finally tried on my favorite Fall denim maxi dress I've been hoping to fit back into, and it is so huge on me that it is now in the Goodwill bag! Guess I'd better try on all the Fall things I've been hoping to fit into. 😁21

I’ve been having a tough time recently - everything going wrong. I’ve been sticking to my plan throughout the past month. However, this lunchtime, I cracked. I’d had enough as I got another piece of bad news. So I made myself a huge bowl of creamy, cheesey carbonara packed with lardons. Came in at 980 calories (bear in mind, I am on a 1250 per day target). Eating it felt great. Once done, I immediately reached for some cream and apples to make myself a huge bowl.
Then - I stopped. I stared at that cream for ages. I thought, “You had one difficult meal....you don’t have to now throw the whole day to hell”.
I put the apples and cream away. I have adjusted my dinner to be lower in calories than previously planned and I went for a 1.5 hour walk at a brisk pace, purposefully taking the route with the most steps and got my heart rate up.
Result is: I am going to hit my calorie count for the day. In the past, one bad meal would have sent me spiralling into binge/guilt/sadness/eat. Not this time. The walk cleared my head too and I am now back on track. A big NSV for me today.67 -

Being able to push forward in a bad workout like I use to the 1st and 2nd time around. I really hope this time the lessons I didn’t deal with are gone so I can be proud of myself and move forward in life14

Last week I found my self hungry after my meals despite eating the same things as normal and hitting the same cal goal.
Not to be tmi, but it was one of my first cycles since weaning the baby. I paid attention and bumped my calories up by 200-300 per day (was still below maintenance cal at this point).
It felt so GOOD to eat freely and have “extra” and not be hungry and cranky the whole week. I felt so smart to take care of myself this way! I was pretty tired as well so I altered my workout plan to be things I was super motivated about (yoga). I was sore yet not wiped beyond belief from HIIT cardio workouts.
All in all, what a successful victory!!29 -
This might be TMI but my UK size 8 bikini style knickers no longer roll down and sit uncomfortably on my hysterectomy scar!
Little things just push you onwards, sometimes!26 -
Got new bras yesterday. Last time I bought some they were 46DDD. This batch is 34C. Guess I am smaller after all.
Also invested in some good underwear.
OMG!!!! First chance y’all get, forget the newer smaller “goal” clothes. Undergarments that FIT have absolutely rocked my world today. You need to make that your goal treat!37 -
I’m not sure why, but complete strangers keep telling me how great my hair is. I have long hair, but many complements over the last 2weeks. A colleague also said “have you lost more” I said yes 45 total....he said “impressive” it was 10 more than he last asked.15

Starting back here. Recognizing that I need to recognize what I am eating lol and weigh it honestly. Ha ha - sorry for the puns.

My new coworker told me randomly that I'm so beautiful I look like a Disney princess. I gave her a huge hug. I've been struggling with some health issues lately and was definitely not feeling beautiful, but she turned that day around for me.24

I used to love swimming so much and haven't been swimming regularly in a long time. I decided I want to take up swimming again and got a teeny tiny (but CUTE and MODEST) sized medium (but it looks more like a small--that's what I mean by teeny tiny) and it not only fits...but looks and fits so GOOD on me. How exciting--BOOM!12

I find swimming amazing for both my physical and mental health. Even if everything else is all to much if I can get myself into the water it all floats away.....enjoy5 -

Absolutely and THANK you for your reply. I remember swimming as making me feel like I'm FLYING, but in the water, especially when I swim on my back, I LOVE it! Thanks again for the encouragement!2 -
I no longer have acid reflux disease. I have suffered with it for past 20 years and it got more severe the more I gained weight. There were nights I would have to stay up most the night or I would throw up and acid from my stomach would almost make me choke to death. I haven't had a bout with it since I lost the first 20 lbs into my journey.31

Moved my bra fastening to the tightest hooks this morning! I can see a cup size reduction looming too! As someone who has HATED my breasts my whole life, even when I’ve been underweight they’re bloody huge, this is cheering!
Downside...bra shopping. Loathe it. 😢15 -
Today, I finally bought a pair of jeans one size smaller!! 8.5 kg down since April. Still 3-4 kg to my "ideal" weight, I'll see if it's doable. I'm seriously thinking about start a recomp', now.10

I found a size 8 dress (US8, dress has UK label too so UK12) at the thrift store. Thing has no stretch, a back zipper, and I'm still able to zip it up no problem with a layer underneath (it's a sleeveless and I like to wear a long sleeve under sleeveless dresses, or a sweater). I have other size 8 dresses but they have lots of stretch for my shoulder area, which is the normally the sticking point (I just got dem shoulders ya know).12
