08/21-210.9 - I had a super stressful morning and that is when I'd usually get McDonald's but I didn't!! I also passed on free A&W for lunch at work tomorrow. YESSS! Starting off strong!
08/22 - 209.1 - Last night was rough but I made it with a calorie deficit! I'm feeling really motivated.
08/23 -210.3 - Oh HELL NAW!! Lol well, I did have subway yesterday and went over on my sodium. Not a good way to start my Friday but I still made my salad for lunch. I've been weighing my food lately so I know it's not a true gain.
08/24 - 208.6 - Woohoooo! Buuut I must confess! I had a really crappy morning and ended up binge eating some chocolate chips. I'm trying really hard to separate my emotions from eating. I'm going to do what I can to salvage today but I have a feeling that the almost 1000 calories I consumed in chocolate and milk will reflect in tomorrow's weight. Oh well! It's a step forward regardless. At least I'm logging it and owning up to it instead of pretending it didnt happen!

08/26 - 210.9 - I had another not so great day yesterday. We went to the Keg and I went over my calories and consumed a lot of sodium so not my best couple of days. The good news is that I'm back on it today!!

08/25 - 130.1 (+0.7lbs) - TOM finally hit and some DOMS so it’s water retention. SO happy to be home and back in my routine, I missed it!! Not to mention I hate flying and business trips in general but not being able to eat healthy and workout was very hard for me.

🥘 Food was good until the evening. I went out for dinner and went crazy with appetizers, main dish, and dessert 🤦🏻♀️... I knew that meant more exercise so I came home and did another round of cardio so that I wouldn’t be over cals. Which is why I’m at 2.5hrs of exercise today. Don’t feel guilty for that deep fried banana now. But tomorrow is grocery shopping and back on nutritious food... my body is craving it!

8/21: 225.6 (-0.6)/19.1 (-0.1). There was a lunch celebration/going away party at work yesterday. I was very mindful about what I ate, and particularly how much. I also skipped dessert completely. Dinner was not the healthiest thing I've ever had, but I chose carefully in order to stay within calories. Today was a victory in that this was a situation in the past in which I may have very easily been derailed. I'm going to try again tonight to hit the gym. I need to check in with my wife before she leaves work to confirm that she is going to make it home on time; otherwise I'll go by myself.
8/22: 225.8 (+0.2)/19.1 (0.0). Food quantity has been pretty good, but I could do better on food quality. And exercise has GOT to make its way back into my life at some point as well. I think basketball is not coming back for another two weeks (first day will likely be 9/7/2019).
8/23: 227.0 (+1.2)/19.3 (+0.2). Okay, yesterday was pretty bad. There was an all-day meeting at the office, celebratory drinks after said meeting, and my mother's 79th birthday yesterday (Mexican dinner out, cake after). I did my best to make healthy choices, but I'm pretty sure I was significantly over in calories. I'm going to make today a good day, and I'm going to focus on having a HEALTHY CHOICE weekend (planning what I'm going to eat in advance, ESPECIALLY if/when I'm going to be eating out). It's looking more and more like I will not be seeing the basketball court tomorrow. I'm going to commit to hitting the gym at least once this weekend (today, Saturday, or Sunday).

8/26: 229.0 (+2.0)/19.5 (+0.3). I had an emotional, sucky weekend, and it took a bit of energy to login today to get back on track and remain accountable. Well, here I am. I'm adjusting my goal, and I'll be ecstatic if I'm able to get back to my starting weight for the round (though any progress in the downward direction would be nice at this point).
8/27: 228.6 (-0.4)/19.4 (-0.1). At this point I'm just focusing on posting here every day to be accountable. Most days (other than the weekend) I'm doing relatively well with food, but exercise has been difficult to come by. It kind of feels like I'm half-@$$ing it, but if I'm being kind to myself I would recognize that I have a lot going on right now, and my motivation is obviously affected. I'll choose "being kind to myself" for now.
8/28: 227.8 (-0.8)/19.3 (-0.1). I mostly did okay yesterday. I had a little more than I wanted to for dinner, but not too much. I'm happy to have what feels like a little bit of progress the past couple of days.
8/29: 225.8 (-2.0)/19.1 (-0.2). Hmm, definitely a WHOOSH, yet I don't really feel like celebrating. I have a bunch of crap going on in my life, so I'm going to have to try really hard to recognize my progress and notice any success(es) I might have. I've been consistently eating under maintenance for the past three days, and I have generally been avoiding temptation (sticking with healthy-ish snacks). Basketball officially starts 9/7/19; it's been too long, and life is definitely not as fun without it.
8/30: 225.6 (-0.2)/19.1 (0.0). I know I've been a bit of a downer this last week, but I really couldn't be more pleased than I actually ended up a bit below my starting weight. I AM GOING TO THE GYM TODAY, no matter what. And @Anlaing016 I am going to do my cardio while I'm watching a show on my phone. This weekend will be a challenge, but I'll try to plan things out accordingly (out for wife's birthday for dinner Saturday, party for her birthday on Sunday). I'm feeling ready for the next challenge!

08/22 207.0 I have averaged a little over 70 minutes of exercise everyday for the last 3 days. I may take today off. For some reason my treadmill cut off all by itself, I'm thinking power surge. It's a wonder I didn't fall flat on my face. lol I think I tweaked my back it is super sore.

8/21 - 157.5 - the catch up from the carb-o-licious Monday. Made it to the pool and could actually get in finally! I’m 6 weeks post-op and my restrictions are lifted. T-minus 2 weeks until I return to work!
8/22 - 156.5 - the turn around in eating makes all the difference. And sticking to it. I was “lazy” yesterday. Swam, ran errands, watched Supernatural on Netflix, did very little cleaning, but I made sure to watch my food and drink my water. I’m hooked on “pork rind chips” for a crunchy snack lately. I can season them with whatever sounds good at the time and crunch away. Today is gym day and some serious cleaning.

I took the last round off as I dealt with some mental/emotional issues I was dealing with and even though I didn't post I did weigh every day. Now my head is back in the game and I am back for the next round.

8/21:211.2 There are 3 snacks that I love to eat and that I can eat without problems from my food sensitivities. Usually I eat 2 or 3 of these snacks every evening even if I'm not hungry. So yesterday I told my husband that I would only allow myself one snack each evening and that he could call me out if I ate more than one. So, last night I had one snack and it was interesting as I really became more aware of whether I was truly hungry or not or whether it was just boredom that has me snacking in the evening. This morning I also didn't feel as bloated. Run tonight.

BBQ at friend's house tonight. My husband made a GF lemon cake with buttercream frosting that we are bringing over, it's his first time trying the recipe and it looks really good...I hope it tastes good too.

8/25:212.3 Didn't post yesterday. I hardly had any water and ate salty food yesterday. Hubby is visiting his relatives today, so I am trying to figure out what I want to do today. I have been feeling a need to do some decluttering and organizing lately, but I don't know if I should do the kitchen or bedroom/closet. Trainer today.
8/26:212.5 Up and down and up and down. This is definitely due to me not being tight in my eating. I've just gotta get my head back in the game.
8/27:212.0 Was tempted to have a second treat yesterday, but I resisted instead went out for a long walk with my dog and husband. Tonight I saw my trainer. Wanted another treat today but then said to myself that I wasn't hungry. I had tea tonight for the first time in a long time...I am reducing my milk intake and instead had it with oat milk, it tasted really good.
8/28:210.7 Sore from yesterday. Rest day today. I'm just going to continue to stay focused.
8/29:210.0 Ankle has been sore/painful the last couple of days so still no running. Digestive system is definitely feeling less inflamed since I have gotten back to my normal eating and it's showing up on the scales. Also, not eating all those extra snacks just because they are there is also helping.
8/30: 209.4 More of the water weight from my vacation. While it's nice to see the scale go down it's been annoying to have to get up in the middle of the night for the past 5 nights to use the bathroom. Went to the gym today.

08/21 128.0 Eating more than usual over the past couple of days, though still never above my MFP calorie limit, and it's interesting to see this result. In the 30 days marked by Rounds 80-83, I was totally plateaued at 134. Then during the 30 days marked by Rounds 84-86, I've had an average 1-lb loss. I honestly can't explain it, other than the old aphorism "weight loss isn't linear."
08/22 127.6 I've been reviewing my logs because every little bite goes into MFP, and all I can see is that I'm consistently eating slightly above 1200 calories a day (I'm not paying attention to anything else), and I guess my body was ready for a whoosh? No exercise (true for my entire journey, beginning in March at 158 lbs).
At about 5 lbs away from my ultimate goal weight, I should be thrilled that my hard work has WORKED...but I'm feeling a bit down. I don't feel like my lower weight reflects how I actually look: my arms are still SUPER flabalicious, I have lots of squishiness in my stomach when I sit down, and I don't feel suddenly liberated to wear new clothes. My silhouette is still unflattering in a dress or any kind of form-fitting outfit. Blah.

08/25 129 Saturday was a rare day of fairly unrestricted gluttony: a fast food meal, a big dinner, my usual ice cream bar, and a candy bar, yikes. No big insights. I can't really explain why I didn't bother to restrain myself more, except I'm losing quickly and told myself I have some wiggle room because I want to get to my final goal weight more slowly, believe it or not! I'm worried I'll "arrive" and be disappointed (see my post on the 22nd). Today's a clean slate, however. Back to what works.
08/26 129.9 What's that word...oh, right, it's two words: self sabotage. I slipped this weekend. I was hungrier than usual and chose not to satisfy my hunger with my go-to foods for real hunger: steamed broccoli with a measured amount of butter or some kind of protein. I make my broccoli a convenience food by having a lot of the microwave steamer bags in the freezer, and protein is always easy to find. But I went for Wetzels Pretzels and Panda Express- foods I *can* (and have) fit into my plan, but not so much on the same day, without portion control. The hunger was real, though, and I'm going to learn from it. I don't have as much to lose now- time to allow myself more HEALTHY calories every day!
08/27 129 Better. Yesterday was on track.
08/28 128.6 Even better! Got slightly over 1200 calories and some quality food in yesterday. Almost back to where I started this round, and back under this round's goal. Bye bye, weekend weight gain.

Back from holiday - 3 weeks with our touring caravan from the UK through France, Germany, Austria and Slovenia for 2 amazing weeks in Croatia with a few days also in Venice. Lots of good food (including cheese and gelato!) and wine obviously. Not getting the "but it's nice to be home" vibe though
But back to it - aim to get holiday gain off over the next couple of rounds!!

08/22 - 137.0lb (-3.1lb) Guess this is the initial whoosh from our road trip and a long couple of days in the car - leaves me with 3.2lb of holiday gain left to work on. Not too upset with this as a gain from a 3 week holiday though - feeling positive! Aiming to keep drinking plenty and get back to eating normally.
Exam results day here for my 16 year old, college sign-up day and cheer try outs for a new team along with catching up with washing and ironing so going to be a testing day!
08/23 - 138.0lb (+1.0lb) Daughter got the results she needed so all signed up for college to study Fine Art, Sports Science and Psychology #proudmum Ended up eating out last night and late as straight from college sign up to cheer tryouts which all seemed to go well - just the wait to hear on a team placement today hopefully.... so understand why and don't mind the 1lb gain. Long Bank holiday weekend here ahead to catch up with friends and family so just aiming to stay a bit focused as far as possible. Guess some sort of normality will return next Tuesday as I'm back to work and the following week youngest starts at secondary school and then college starts too .... Back to land of crazy

08/27 - 140.2lb (+1.6lb) Had a lovely long and hot bank holiday weekend here in the UK. Involved 2 BBQ's, a lunch and a family dinner at which the Gin &Tonic and wine was flowing nicely. Such a lovely weekend catching up with everyone and I know today's weigh in is a lot of water weight but I expected it and don't mind and actually wanted to get on the scales this morning to "reset".
Do I feel any better for the weekend excesses ? No - do I regret it, no - but so ready to get back to "normal" eating after nearly a month of holiday and socialising! Back to work today and some part of normality, healthy food with me for the day along with my water bottle!
Target for the rest of this round is to get back to some sort of "normal" eating, re-hydrate myself and then to get off the holiday gain over the next round or two.
08/28 - 139.6lb (-.60lb) Scales don't actually reflect how much better I feel already. Back to the gym last night (which was tough as been a month!!!) ate well yesterday and drank plenty too and feel less bloated already despite TOM's arrival. Also have agreed to do a full 26.2mile marathon with a work colleague at the end of September (walking not running) so have a month to get walking the streets and get some miles in ready

08/25 - 206.4 - motived to make some changes. Back to MFP, started the day with a nice long 5.8 km walk to get Starbucks with the kids and dog.
08/26 - 204.8 - it’s nice to see how quickly I can bounce back with just a few changes but it’s also a reminder of just what a toll on my body the wrong choices make. Yesterday I was on focus until the end of the day. This morning started the day with a 2.6km walk with the dog. Healthy lunch packed for work - I got this!
08/27 - 204.8 - have to admit I was a little disappointed not to see the scale budge but I also know it’s not going to do that everyday. Yesterday I stayed focused with eating and took the dog for another 1.7km walk. It was pouring this morning so I skipped the morning walk. Hopefully it will be nicer this evening, if not treadmill it is. Plan to do a 30 day shred video as well.
