In these forums or threads, is there a way to see who reacts to posts? It's "killing" me that people react to mine and I can't acknowledge or thank them if appropriate.8

My elastic band sweatpants no longer stay up properly

Silly one. Yesterday I put on some old shorts to clean the house. I was running around like a crazy person when I realized my shorts were sliding down on the right side. My cell phone was pulling my shorts off! No biggie I'm working and my roommates/guests have seen worse. Then I realize that they were hanging down so low that not just the band of my underwear was showing but past the undies where my leg was visible. Another pair for the GW bag!!14

I tried on my old size 17 (so juniors) jeans - the only pair of jeans I own, lol. They wouldn't even stay up for a second without a belt. They're even loose in the thighs, which is crazy considering as a junior's size, they're cut a little narrower in the thighs, and usually that's where things are tight for me in general.18

Last week I went on vacation with some friends and my hubby. We hiked nearly every day, and I killed it even carrying a heavy pack going up tons of stone steps. I was a little worried before, but I am now confident in my ability to hike three days on the Appalachian Trail next month. On top of all that activity, I ran for the first time since a knee injury in March, two mornings in a row. Three miles each, no major pain. It felt amazing.

I feel you on that one, lol. I'm just outside the standard sizes for most department stores so it really jacks up the price, and for bras that probably won't fit yet again next year.3 -
@geraldaltman No way of telling
@whmscll The important question is do you not have a watermelon on your floor?7 -

I'm interested in the answer to this as well.3 -

Since it looks like no one is answering: Sorry, reaction clicks are anonymous.
We just need to bask in the glow of others' approval, without knowing who's doing the approving.
I think maybe moderators can see, but not us regular members.5 -

Was a curiosity based question. Will just have to post a blanket "thank you" periodically.5 -
Went from barely fitting into a XXXL last April to now fitting into a XL t-shirt even after I shrunk it in the dryer!

HA! Hahahahaha
I have a watermelon on the floor of my bedroom because....children. 3 of them, a fresh 6, 3.5, & not yet 18m.
Which is also why those sheets piled on the bed are so darn wrinkly
Our bedroom is just off the front hall and the kitchen is very near to that. We have an old house with limited counter space. Watermelons live on the floor so they don’t take up valuable space/kids can’t roll them off onto the floor to make a mess.
However, this means watermelons become “balls.” Once it ended up in the bedroom we left it so the kids wouldn’t find it as easily29 -
The good news: I went down a bra band size.
The bad news: my size is still expensive!12 -

Didn't look at picture closely so watermelon on floor "went over my head" 🤣2 -
So I fell off the wagon a bit. Gained 5kg in a week! Though the 3 weeks leading up to that gain I was steady weight wise, but making all the wrong food choices, I kept getting a surprise when the scale didn't go up. It was almost as if I was tempting fate. I got away with it for a bit and then bam it smacked me in the face. I half heartedly tried to get back into it and have managed to not gain any more weight in the meantime. Then I caught a cold that put me out of exercise action for about 5 weeks, and my back started hurting, another 2 weeks off.
Monday morning I got up and told myself to just walk. NSV right there. Something is better than nothing! I got about 500 metres and thought "Let's just see how much your fitness has declined, see how far you can go" well I went the rest of my 5km route without feeling uncomfortable 😁😁😁
Yesterday was bootcamp, I've been back at bootcamp for about a week and a half (Tuesdays and Thursdays) after a big spell I was expecting to not be able to jog the km warm up too quickly. Last week my back was too sore to even attempt jogging (I probably shouldn't have gone, but the instructor took care of me and I actually left the session feeling less pain than when I started!) So I surprised myself when I got it done in 6 minutes 19 seconds. My pb to date is 5 minutes 57 seconds. So to get it done in the time I did after a big spell I feel is not too bad at all.
Then last night was my biggest NSV! I recorded all my food for the day and saw I was over calories (I caved and had a chicken parmi with Chips & Salad for lunch) My partner thought it would be funny to have me get ice cream for him. Instead of caving and getting some for myself while I was going I told myself that no, I didn't have the calories left. This is HUGE for me. Normally I would go "meh, I'll have it tonight and get back on track tomorrow" I'm actually so proud of this one.
This morning I went out for my jog again and done the whole 5k. With relative ease. I guess fitness doesn't decline as quickly as I thought it does!13
