i actually have two that i run, on my stats you'll see the apple watch, that's on my wrist. I have a chest strap that is a wahoo fitness tracker. if one fails, i go by the other one.

The flu jab isn't available yet, but I've got an appointment for the shingles. By mistake I made it for DH's birthday. I can either change it, or do something later in the day with him. Might change it tomorrow. The vaccine is free for over 70s, but it sounds like it's the old fashioned variety.
I did have shingles once, round my waist, but got away with it lightly as it was caught early and I was put on anti-virals.
My ex had it really badly in the eye area. Horrible pain and months to get over it. He was only about 21.
Still dragging. I've done 30 mins rowing and been out to the shops. Dinner is in the IP. Chicken, lentil, spinach and pea curry. I do rice for DH.
Nice, Lisa!
Much love to all, Heather UK xxxxxxx4 -

I also have two different wahoo fitness tracker HRMs one is a plain one and the other is has some extra connectivity that tracks me on the treadmill.
Plus my treadmill came with an HRM if I want to use it.
Plus I have a Polar one which I used on the bicycle outside. I'm not sure if I'll continue using that one outside or if I'll go with one of the wahoo's.
We just end up collecting these things!

Lisa in AR - "JanetR - watching your experience with the knee replacements, of course. So sorry the scan made you ill, but am so glad the doc is taking it all seriously. Is the knee sliding out of its channel causing you much pain?"
Thanks sweetie for your concern. When it first started it was horribly painful and would sometimes catch and I'd almost fall down, I had to grab something close by to hold on to. Its not as painful now. As you know the actual knee joint is titanium but there is a "plastic" disc cushion between the titanium and the leg bone, the plastic disc is what has slipped a little to the inside of the knee. I look a bit knocked kneed on my left leg.
Awaiting report from the surgeon on the scan.

Beth , thank you, that's a good idea about sharing my reaction. The nuclear med technician did tell me that it is a fairly common reaction, some have a worse reaction than others and some have none at all.

Bad luck on my restart. Had a bad fall sprained my ankle and broke my fibula last night. UGHH! Was on such a good role with my diet and exercise. Now I can’t even put weight on my leg and can’t workout for awhile. Though hobbling around on crutches is it’s own kind of workout.
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope that the pain's not too bad. Crutches and I don't get along. 😞0 -

Sharon Are you traveling alone? Other than many, many work trips, I haven't done that yet, but I want to. I find Mexico to be one of the most difficult places in the world to communicate.
Bras: I hate them. No matter what I choose, it's uncomfortable. I like shelf bra tops because they are the most comfy option and I work from home. I need something, but don't want to wear an underwire. And even sports bras are uncomfortable to me. I run, so buy the high impact ones. Basically, they just squeeze me to death. I cannot wait to get out of them.
Dentist today. Getting 2 crowns and a filling on one side. I expect complete misery tonight.5 -
Pg. 39 done.
I’ve had 4 colonoscopies in 13 years all of which have been completely clear. This is the first time I’ve ever had this much Trouble recovering from the anesthesia! Good thing is this doc cleared me for 10 years this time! YAY!

Rebecca ~ Love that Athena!1

Rebecca - gorgeous Athena!
All my grandchildren were huge when babies. My DDIL worked on the very good principle of 'food plus sleep' makes a happy baby. All are excellent sleepers and were enormous as babies. Now the older two are slim and Bea is sturdy, but normal. I was worried at the time, but all has turned out fine.
Having a drink or two waiting for DH to come home. Wish I hadn't, but I'm stopping now.
Now going to have my curry.
The cleaner has been and all is lovely. Very calming to the mind.

Angry frustrated aaaugh! lost my response post to a forced windows update reboot while I was momentarily away. Had I used Word instead of Notepad, would have recovered it, but not sure if Office Writer works the same way. Switching over now. Lesson learned.
Tumble was the ONLY dog who barked at dog group today, and that only thrice. A few others snarled/growled a little but it was the most tranquil session yet. Most of the dogs (including Tumble) enjoyed the follow-the-leader agility play at the end, even going through the tunnels. She's really come a very very long way from the crazed, wildly barking/snarling/belly crawling bundle of fear/aggression of Feb 2018. Thanks to Rip, Denise, Auntie Jeanie and the patience and empathy of the other dog handlers.
What little I remember:
Chose to have two glasses of red wine last night, other poor choices followed, including being too lazy to check in with you gals. Predictable results on wii this morning. Message received, AGAIN.
Flies, the magnetic screen “as seen on TV” works well for us over the slider we leave open for the dogs. Before that, Joe took great delight in swatting flies dead on my chopping block. The selvadge unravels by the end of the season but we found a cheapo alternative ($5.99 vs $19.99) at Grocery outlet.
Allie 2 lbs crawling around building new island? Win-WIN!
Margaret, “you cannot argue with a computer”, but you can surely shriek at it as I just did
Julie the Sloggi bra sounds too good to be true, I'd need support (38D) and go for cotton as polyester makes me sweat.
Rho nearby animal shelter would LOVE for you and your BF to walk the shelter dogs. Oh my your basketball story, you poor little thing! How embarrassing for a young girl.
Dandi, brain cancer-free? Thankful congratulations.
Amber your MIL's humor was just the right offset to Aunties bigotry. Hoping the love she feels for her biracial grandchild will teach her a new way of thinking.
Janetr hope you can get the specific name/brand of the dye and your reaction to it entered into your chart. If similar procedure needed in future, an alternative can be used.
Only through pg 39. No time for the Joe's talking box of $#!+ story nor for the medical power of attorney . The dew is dried and Joe is panting for me to finish painting the deck.
Lighter, lovelies!

Rho--teenage girls are terrible. Glad you can smile about it now.
Rebecca--Athena is so cute and growing so fast. They sure do not stay little long.
I have tomorrow off, but things to do. I go back to the eye doctor in the morning to have the rest of the tests on my eye and decide on the treatment plan. Then at noon I have an appointment to give blood at the Red Cross drive at the hospital. I may work the afternoon shift, depends on how my lady is doing. She is having some health issues and can only work a couple hours at a time and most of the shifts are 8-12 hours. So see what happens.
This weekend I have a class 7:30 to 6 both days to get my license to drive the motorcycle. I have done the book study and test and now just to take the class. Trying my best to stay calm about it.
Blessings, Vicki GI NE5 -
Rebecca I wish there was a "Be Still My Heart" option under the chatbox for photos like you just posted of Athena. Could she be any more adorable? Sweet, sweet baby girl.
Vicki Motorcycle license! Oh my gosh, you brave thing. Just channel your inner Tawanda.

I'm very worried about the daughter of my partner's coworker. Josephine is a 9-year-old ballerina who is undergoing a biopsy today on a (probably malignant) mass on her lower spinal cord. She endured considerable pain and a delay in diagnosis. I am not going to rant about this, as it will not help. I am hoping she will be transferred to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis or Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore once the biopsy is back later today.
My partner is sitting with the girl's mother while the biopsy is being performed.
