10/12 147 😫😫 this is my own fault, I have been having trouble doing what I am supposed too. I can feel my stomach growing and I'm dissapointed in myself because I have worked too hard to reverse the effects. I can't blame anyone but myself I need to get a grip and restart. After Thanksgiving weekend and all the festivities are done I'm regaing control. This can't go on.... I miss eating healthy and working out anyway.. I haven't felt this s**tty in a long time... I forgot how gross.it feels to not eat right

10/10: 224.2 (-0.4)/18.9 (-0.1). I'm happy that the downward trend is continuing. I ate at about maintenance yesterday, succombing a bit to temptation later in the night. I'm feeling like I need to give myself a little bit of leeway for nights like last night. I've been shooting straight for my target calorie goal every day, carefully planning things out to be "done by dinner." Every once in a while I want a drink with dinner, as well.

10/11: 224.2 (0.0)/18.9 (0.0). I was at or slightly above maintenance last night, likely because of the dinner I had after my wife flaked on me re: the gym. I have my plan for the gym set; Tuesday, Thursday or Friday, and Sunday every week. I decided Thursday is better than Friday, because it gives me a day of rest before basketball, and it keeps my Friday night open for fun (I NEED that). The "flaking" did not throw me too far off track, but I need to commit to sticking to MY plan, regardless of what my lovely wife does or does not do. It's not her fault. I am a big boy, and I can make my own decisions.

10/12: 224.2 (0.0)/18.9 (0.0). I lifted weights last night, but also had an impromptu birthday celebration (after I had dinner) for my niece at my brother-in-law's house. I was "pretty good," but I did have a cupcake. Basketball today.

Hey Debbie ~ {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}} ~ I know how you feel. I was there for most of this year. Maybe you need to mix things up a little .... change how you exercise, how much you eat, water/tea intake, types of foods, fats, etc. Experts say you should switch things every 30-45 days to minimize plateaus. I'm trying to do that now!

We're around the same weight, inbox me if you want a partner or whatever. It's hard, but not impossible!! We can do this. Feel better luv.

It seems I've reached a bit of a plateau here the last few days. Only day I went over my calories was Wednesday, so I'm hoping it'll start to drop again. Lost quite a bit in round 91 and over the last 2 weeks so maybe my body is taking a little break idk. Made up for not going to the gym yesterday (flu 😷) by doing around 110 minutes today. Best workout I've done this week probably. Got in all my cardio and added more strength with the weights & machines. Wanted my timmies after ofc (it's right by the gym) and ended up getting a donut with my usual black coffee but I earned it 😜 Still well under my total & will make healthy choices for the rest of the day. Have dinner already planned and have set my mind on no snacking after dinner! Hopefully when I weigh in tmrw I'll have broken this plateau. It's frustrating me, but I'm not giving up!!!

10/10, 138.5 Second time to try this challenge. I like that it's so short. I dropped 1/2 a pound over night, so I don't believe yet. If I'm still in the 138's tomorrow, I'll be happy. However, it is motivating to see 138 on the scale again. It's been a long time!

10/11, 138.2, I can't believe I'm actually losing weight. Not drinking has made a huge difference. I was coming home from a stressful day of work and having a couple of glasses of wine every night. Now I'm out exercising, and taking my dog for multiple walks.

10/12, 139, hmmm. I injured myself, and have been taking ibuprofen around the clock, which always puffs me up. I hope the gain is just water :-/

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.

Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

Stick with the process. It DOES work! But it does take time, effort, and most of all, patience!

I only include the last 5 rounds, but have been doing these challenges since round 58. Still trying to get into the 130's. It is proving to be a lot tougher than I ever imagined, but I am going to continue trying. Maybe we will do it this next 10 days!

10/10 - 142.9 I am slightly annoyed this am. I have been really good, even through my 3 day weekend. I should be lower than this. I guess I will just keep going and hopefully I see a whoosh sometime in the near future. It seems like I can not get past 142/143 for the life of me. My maintenance is within 5 pounds of where I am today, but at the rate I am going I may not be there till next year, lol. Maybe tomorrow I will see a nice drop, I am on track for today and not going to self sabotage. This is just the way it goes sometimes.

10/11 - 141.5 Nice little drop. My lowest last week was 141.5 for 2 days, so maybe I can hold onto it this time. Really going to try and work hard this weekend. My daughter is having her wisdom teeth out this morning and then have to work this afternoon, so it's just going to be one of those days. No fast food! No fast food! That will be my goal today.

10/12 142.3 I’m ok with this. Had a couple of drinks last night with dinner, but food was in point. So this should go back down as long as I stay on track today. The weekends are my downfall. I only ate 310 calories all day yesterday because I knew I was going to have a couple of drinks with dinner. So I should have still been within my limits.

10/10 63.7kg not worried about this blip as food and exercise were both good. It'll come off soon
10/11 62.1kg...it's coming off! Can't wait to be back in the 61s and keep going down. The weekend should not derail me as I have a quiet one in mind.
10/12 61.15kg which is a new low and a very happy me!
10/13 61.35kg still lower than last week! Had a major snack on sunflower seeds yesterday which put me over cals so I expect this isn't the end of the gains. But that's over with and I'm going to be very strict for the week ahead.

Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight – I'm working at it – it's a permanent way of life !

10/11 133.4 - 3.89 miles walked yesterday chasing my 18 month DGS around, walk pushing him in his pushchair whilst he napped cut short by rain, food not good:over on carbs & calories

10/12 133.6 – 9.71 miles walked yesterday, including a good work out with 2 hours dancing last night, calories within goal, carbs & fat slightly over. Aiming for a perfect day today !
10/13 132.8 – wow!! 8.2 miles walked yesterday, all macros in green apart from sodium (had mussels for tea) and so was not expecting it – but I'll take it !!!
