I'm not vegetarian but Avocado on Whole Grain Toast is great. top it with an egg if you include those in your diet.

I would say that whether you choose to eat breakfast or not is neither ‘good’ nor ‘bad’ for you.

If you don’t normally eat breakfast there’s no compelling reason to do so now. You’ve said you hear it’s good for you’ - you’ll ‘hear’ a lot of things along the way - some of which will be true but a surprising amount will be rubbish!

Breakfast is good for some people and not for others.

Find your path. I often have dinner for breakfast and then breakfast for dinner. Eat what you want, stay in calories and try to eat a variety of foods.

The possibilities are endless, are you bothered about if it's more protein or more carbs? How much time do you have? Can you cook something and eat it, or does it need to be something you can grab on the way out the door?

Porridge, overnight oats, toast, avocado with tomatoes and olives, muesli, fruit and yoghurt, eggs, make muffins or cereal bars.....

But of course you don't have to eat it if it doesn't suit you.

    I'm ovo-lacto veg, for 45+ years now.

If I'm working out first thing, I eat something light-ish and quick, like peanut butter on an Ezekiel pita with kefir. Otherwise, I like cooked plain rolled oats with Greek yogurt, berries, walnuts, hemp/flax seed, cinnamon and a dab of blackstrap molasses for extra sweetness/flavor and micronutrients. I need protein in my breakfast.

But that's just me. What you should do depends on what you find filling, practical, and tasty.
