    Ultimate goal - Maintain around 143 (range between 140 - 150)

    September 1: 143.0 (10-day average 145.8) First day of Meteorological Fall.
    September 23: 141.8 (10-day average 142.7) First day of Astronomical Fall. So I'll go with this date and make Monday my weigh-in day this season.
    September 26: 142.8 (10-day average 142.6) First day of challenge as requested by Tish.

    September Actual: I passed my goal and kept losing. Not a real problem yet, and I'm happy with it. August wasn't a great month for me. September was my catch up. Now if I can hold steady, I'll be chuffed.

    Weight lost this week: Scale says I gained 3.8 pounds, and ten-day average says a half a pound.This feels bad, but when I looked on my spreadsheet, today's scale weight is actually the goal weight I had set for myself back in January 2018 when I started on MFP, so I should still be happy. 😉 But I have lowered my goal since then, and I'm far enough above I might slide back to a goal of slow loss versus maintaining. Or just get a better control of the really yummy foods I've been cooking and eating out. It's just little disappointing to see the average go up. 😖 🤯 😱 I should take my own advice and relax because I'm doing ok. 👌

    Challenge Weight loss goal: Range between 142-148
    Actual Weight loss for the challenge: I'm still in my goal range by scale and average, just not by much. I had expanded my goal range, but I'm still using the old tighter one. For now I just need to stop the gain.

    October 3 191.6 Woo Hoo! What a turbulent week of travel, ups & downs! Fighting very hard for success. 180’s I am talking to YOU…..Bring it ON!

    10/10 191.8 I made a ton of progress this week that was completely wiped out by 2 trips in the same week including lots of car sitting/driving & restaurant food. I hope a lot of this is fluid retention. I picked up some parsley, I shall be drinking a parsley tea today!

    10/17 189.0 Working it back down. Not always easy when my own body fights me with several health conditions & many medications. As time goes on, I am becoming more & more aware of my limitations and the reasons for my fluctuations. That is a gift.

    10/24 188.4 I am working so hard for progress. Its such a slow process these days. Ah…to be young again!

    10/30 188.0 Travel today.

    November 7 186.0 More progress than I realized for this past week. I’ve been stuck the last few days so I am going to rethink things. If it keeps up, an egg fast may be in order. Or a beef & butter fast. Last resort though as I don’t find either very pleasurable!

    @deepwoodslady - you are doing great. Just keep it up. Slow and steady is great. No need to feel bad that you're losing SLOWLY. It's way more sustainable. Just keep doing what you're doing. It's working!

    wow what a month... not sure what happened to me... and I have never been depressed but this last month... WOW.. eating very badly, no gym, no walking, no running, NOTHING!!! Then... I woke up yesterday and had an amazing day. I feel SOOOO much better ~ now to get back at it. I've got some time to make up.

    I hope everyone is having a great day.... let's go get it!

    9/27~ 142.0 great start to the challenge. I am losing so slow these days, so I am hoping by the end of next month to be in the 130's firmly. Even if it is only 139.9, lol.

    October 4 ~142.0 same. I am with in 4 pounds of my maintenance goals, but it is proving to be a very difficult 4 to 6 pounds to get rid of. Maybe I will get somewhere next week.

    10/11 ~ 141.4 Finally made some progress. Not much by any means, but it's progress and I will take it.

    10/18 ~ 141.5 was lower all week. I didn't even have a beer last night and I still am up a bit.

    10/25 ~ 143.9 I have been high all week. Don't think I am getting anywhere this month

    10/31~ 140.7 Not great I know!

    November 1~ 141.5 Why can't I get under 140 uuugghh

    11/8 ~ 143.4 was lower all week, but went out for pizza for my husband's bday. Hopefully I will be back down next week.

    Weight lost this week: Scale says I lost about half a pound, but my ten-day average is up almost a whole pound. 😖 🤯 My mass has been slowly climbing since the beginning of October. 😱 I'm still well below where I got in August, so all is not lost. In fact, it's really not that bad at all, it just looks like it to me sometimes. 😉 In reality, I'm still near the middle of my goal range, and my weighted moving average weight is just a couple pounds over my goal. But in my head I look at that graph and just see a line going up instead of holding steady or dropping back to my actual goal. In reality, I am actually below the initial goal I set a couple years ago when I started my current journey, so I just need to see this as success rather than failure. Isn't it funny how our brains tease us like this. Because I know I'm doing fine, but somehow it just doesn't feel like it. I know I'm not alone in this. Thanks for letting me rant about it. 👌

    Notes: This is looking good. Scale is gradually moving down after the weird whoosh and spike. Used my time of work wisely - figured out the menus for both Thanksgiving and a family get together this Sunday that shouldn't set me back. Reading the book Quench which goes into the science of hydration and gives some great strategies for maximizing hydration from food. Highly recommend it!
