SW: 174 as of Sept 20th
    LW: 159.4 (LW=Last week)
CW: 158.4 as of this morning.
GW: 135-145ish depending on what looks and feels good/natural.

I saw 157.6 and 156.6 a couple times this week, which is a bit freaky. I've been eating 1800 calories per day since last Friday, and it's a much easier target to hit than 1700 calories, which is a strange realization. Apparently, the meals I plan out just make more sense at 1800 calories portion-wise, without having to add on anything peculiar at the end of the day to make up a shortage of one or the other macros. (It's nice not to be standing at the fridge, doling out 2 oz of ham and half a serving of yogurt to make up a 120 calorie and protein shortfall every night.) My intention is to hold at this level for a couple of weeks to see if I can nail down my actual TDEE and get more control and understanding (data - I need more data) of the speed of my losses.

Currently on the very low end of the BMI scale for still being overweight, so a new goal of 2-3 more pounds to get me to the top of the healthy range. But have updated my macros to maintenance.

Forgot to post last week, but I have lost .6 over the last 2 weeks. I don't care how small the loss, as long as the scale keeps going down!

    (I am 5'10)

Today was... 10lb lost! (since August... I hope that when I go off the pill and have a different method that I will lose weight more quickly, as this is VERY slow). But still, 10lb off!

Lost 3.1lbs last week. It took terrible head cold to do it, but I will take it.

Been working on this (again) for the last 2.5 months. Started with losing weight quick (likely water water) but now really trying to work on adjusting what I eat and starting a weight training program.

This gain was anticipated as I spent 5 days last week traveling and I *always* retain water when I travel. The *good part* is that it's much less than I had anticipated. I was expecting to see 162 or so, but I devised a new strategy for long car trips, and wore my compression socks and pants in the car while driving. I miraculously managed to get home after a 12 hour drive with *visible ankle bones* which is totally a win. I ate to maintenance a couple days on the trip and way under for a couple days after I got back because the travel food was not cool with my stomach. I'm back on track now and should see normal progress again as early as Sunday (my second rest day from lifting) once all the water weight from muscle recovery recedes.

    Hi all,

Glad to find this thread. i restarted this week after one year away from MFP but I am struggling. Trying not to eat refined sugar and the white carbs is difficult. I Lost 40 pounds prior on MFP but have gained back 17 pounds over the last year without calorie counting. Very discouraging.

165 is a bit heavy for my size but I think that is a realistic goal. Prior i only lost 3 pounds per month but that works for me on a 1400 calorie per day diet. i tried 1200 calories per day but that is just unattainable for me.

Glad i found this thread I hope i can find you all next Wednesday with good news!

Hello, all! I took a hiatus - I was frustrated with the MFP glitches and then went on vacation, so New Year, New Me I guess!!!
Anyway, I weighed in again yesterday and although I was up a couple of pounds, it was expected. But I am back on track and finding it a bit easier this time for some reason...maybe because I have built good habits over the last couple of years and know what I need to do to get these last few pounds off!
My son is getting married in May, so I guess I am "shedding for the wedding!" LOL

Well, I met my new GW and lost a bit more, without really trying, even though I am trying to maintain. I have adjusted my maintenance calories up a bit more as of this morning and will concentrate on that.
