Weigh in day today! - 67.9kg

    Week 2 weigh in - 69.3kg
    Week 1 weigh in - 68.2kg

    Track: yes
Calories: a little bit over. It's our CEO's leaving do so we all ate to stupor. I made the right choices but also had some fizz and cake
Exercise: 70 minutes walk. I walked to the sauna, spent 30 minutes there and caught the bus to work. So nice!

2.5 mile walk tonight. Having a workout buddy makes such a difference. I even suggested we go the extra half mile and it felt great!

    @holygoop Not a gain!!
@nbbaby I feel ya' Sharon! Have you tried food prepping? That helped me out loads! I also keep cut veggies to snack on or to make my lunch salads. Incentives work well too and I'm not talking about just for you...i.e. your husband does good...maybe a back massage?? My husband lives for incentives! ;) I hope this helps a little or maybe someone will give you something that clicks. Have a great day! Melinda

    Thanks Melinda,
That's some good ideas. I'll have to try some of those out.

@nbbaby I've done keto and it gets rid of water your body's holding on to in the first couple of weeks.
I realised I was making common mistakes of eating too much fat. You don't need to have massive amounts, it just needs to be higher than the protein. Keeping the carbs so low was just too hard for me but it was great in me finding out what had been making me so bloated and my crashing blood sugars over the past 10 years or more.
I replaced pasta with steamed cabbage, leafy greens are so low carb you can eat loads. The best advice i've seen was keep it simple protein the size of your fist, vegetables and a fat(if the protein is a fatty cut then you already have the fat).
It's great to not see butter and olive oil as an enermy. All good fats, avocado, olive oil and butter. I'm not so keen on coconut oil. But coconut cream cheese pancakes are delicious, they can be made with Almond flour if you're not keen of coconut.
I now make Cloud bread for my sandwiches.
    I'm rarely bloated now days.
I like watching Keto Connect on YouTube, they're really helpful.
I hope you feel better soon and get some help. I can't even imagine how what's happening is making you real feel with everything happening in your life right now. I hope your son isn't in too much pain. ☹️
Sorry if something else has happened and I've missed your post.

I was pleasantly surprised to see another 1.6 lbs gone this week. I broke the 30 lb loss mark and my ultimate goal is 135 to 140....basically almost there. Yay....now to maintain.
