Ack! Well I was doing really well, but off track today. Sweets at work, and then chinese food for dinner. I only go into the office rarely, it always throws me off track when I do.

Well tomorrow is another day as they say.

    Motivating message-

This story really inspired me. It is about an older woman in her 70s who was in poor health, overweight, and depressed and with support she starting working out, eating better, and turned her life around. It really shows that no matter how old we are, or what is happening in our life, it is never too late to learn healthy habits and try something new one step at a time.

@AustinRuadhain love your images and the James Clear quote!

    Welcome new team members!

    Weekly check-in
    Last week 127
    This week 129

I'm pretty disappointed, I'm obviously screwing up maintenance if I'm gaining every week and I'm up 7lbs eating 1500-1600 calories and working out an hour or more a day. I'm taking the day off working out and regrouping. I haven't felt like working out as much and am feeling worn out and discouraged. I had fun cooking last night but another week of gaining has me frustrated, all I can think of doing is lowering calories and increasing workouts again.

Forgot to say why I joined, I thought the encouragement of a group sounded like a fun, supportive way to lose weight. I was worried the weeks I didn't lose anything that I would set the group back but everyone was amazing and supportive no matter what the scale said. Love this group!

Good evening! I have made a vow to myself that I am going to be a better captain to you all. That means actually posting more and commenting to all you lovely people! <3

@Milica986, welcome to the team! It sounds like you have a good plan for eating and working out. Now you have us here to help motivate and support you! :)

@kayla7303, welcome to the Slimpossibles! We are just about the same in that I have also lost 60 lbs and have another 40 or so to go. Working out and staying consistent with a healthy eating plan is the key to it all. I look forward to getting to know you! :)

@robynleegetsfit, welcome to the group! Please feel free to share with us so that we can get to know you better! :)

@apple852hk, wow congrats on your weight loss!! B) That is fantastic and very interesting that you gave up sugar and ate a variety of foods. Were the foods mostly low carb or a mixture?

@mrmcgrath, congrats on your weight loss!! I have been seriously slacking in getting involved too and plan to change that this month. Please join me in becoming more active and perhaps others will follow suit. I want this team to be the best it can be for everyone! :) Ohhhh and my husband says that I love the show because of the judge, Paul. And he wouldn’t be wrong!! ;):p

@bethanie0825, yes it’s doable for you to get to that 25 lbs mark. I was only 2 lbs away from Onderland. and now it’s 6 lbs. I’m very annoyed by my lack of discipline and really wanted to go into the New Year saying that I did it. Maybe it’s not too late for either of us, huh? I’ll support you and you support me. <3

@hinemoa2088, we are so happy that you are in our group and yes you should post more!! That dog pic is the cutest!! Boy or girl? Name? I Love dogs!! <3

@Wishusdonna, I hope that you like WW and their new point system. I still follow a few friends on FB who are WW members and if I had my old leader back, I just might be willing to give it a try again. :)

@AustinRuadhain, that James Clear video is soooo good! I really need to watch it every.single.day until it becomes a part of me! I also love those strong, powerful images you posted. Very inspiring, which is exactly what you are to me and to many others in this group. I am soooo happy that you are our motivator and can’t imagine The Slimpossibles without you! <3<3

@wwood008, I find that I do my best the more involved I get with my group. I hope that you will find that as well. We are here to support and cheer you on toward your goals. :)

@nbbaby, I hope you are starting to feel better! I had pneumonia a few years ago and ended up in the ICU for 6 days so I don’t take any kind of lung infections lightly. Once you are healed you can get back to your healthy eating plan. But yes, do try to track as often as you can. That is really such a key to being successful. :)

@leonadixon, and we are are so happy that you are a part of our group! That avatar pic of yours makes me smile every time I see it. :)

@its_cleo, yes you had a little bump in the road but I know you and you will be back on track tomorrow! Thanks for posting that article. Joan MacDonald is my kind of woman!! Since starting Beachbody on Demand the one thing I’ve really learned about myself is how much I love lifting weights! I’m actually going to switch my program that I’m currently doing for one that uses weights more often. Plus, my knees still don’t like doing a ton of cardio. Whoever thought of burpees needs to beat. Just saying!! ;)

@Katmary71, I know you are disappointed by the scale and I would be too. But you need to figure it out and not beat yourself up for it. Is it possible that you aren’t eating enough calories? How strenuous are you working out for that hour? I know that since I really started working out my weight hasn’t budged and has actually gone up (much of that is my current overeating) but I also know that the body will hold on to water if we are working it hard. Could it be the food you are eating? What type of eating plan are you on? You will figure it out! We also love having you as part of our team! <3

    Exercise: nope

Well, since being off work most of last week, I had a lot of catching up to do and by the time I came home I was beaten and frankly just didn't feel like working out. I will be back at it tomorrow. I'm going to try this sample workout on Beachbody called Barre Blend and then I'm returning to 21-Day Fix with the trainer that I really love.

    Sunday Check-in:
    Calories: under
    Water: over
Exercise: 30 minute BOD program and some housework

So, I've decided to not continue with my current BOD workout that I'm doing. I just don't connect with the trainer who is doing it so I'm going back to 21-Day Fix and the trainer I love. Working out has to be enjoyable for me or I'm just not going to want to do it. ;)

This is so important I have to jump in! You MUST find the kind of workout that is YOU. There are great options online and in person, but keep trying until you find the one you can stick with. Yes, you will hate it sometimes. Yes you keep going anyhow. That's the one you want!

My top fitness tip is to find some kind of activity that you love and make it a priority in your life. I signed up for Beachbody on Demand in September and started doing the workout programs on there. Some of the workouts I have loved and really connected with and others I didn't. For the ones that I didn't like, I quit and moved on to something else. I've learned that if my heart isn't in it then making it a priority becomes much more difficult. ;)

My top nutrition tip is to track your food! For me whenever I stop tracking my weight goes up. I just don't do well with guesstimating. I get lazy and eat much more than I should. This time of year makes it harder to track but I'm going to do my best to do it anyway. Even if the calorie count is through the worth at least I will own it! :)

    GOOD MORNING

    TEAMS AND MEMBERS

I HAVE BEEN WORKING BEHIND THE SCENES EVEN MORE THAN THE OTHER MODS KNOW. I AM DEVELOPING NEW PROGRAMS TO INTRODUCE INTO THIS GROUP IN 2020. I WILL ROLL THEM OUT AS I SEE FIT AS NOT TO OVER WHELMED ANY ONE,OR TEAM. AS A PROGRAM SPECIALIST FOR A NATIONAL NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION I WORKED ON BRINGING NEW PROGRAMS TO MY BRANCH.
HENCE I CREATED A NUTRITION AND FITNESS PROGRAM FOR KIDS AGES 7-18. THAT IS IS EXACTLY WHAT I AM DOING NOW FOR THIS ENTIRE GROUP. ALL TEAMS ....ALL MEMBERS ...ALL AGE GROUPS... AND ALL ABILITIES NO ONE LEFT BEHIND NO ONE LEFT OUT... IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO PARTICIPATE IN IT NO WORRIES I AM BULLET PROOF.
I AM GEARING IT TOWARDS ALL PHYSICAL ABILITIES, I AM TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION ALL TYPES OF MEALS THAT EVERY ONE IS ON EVEN INCLUDING THOSE OF YOU ON MAINTENANCE. I AM GIVING IT MY BEST SHOT TO MAKE IT USER FRIENDLY.
I AM GOING TO CALL IT "FROM THE COACHES CORNER" I HAVE RECRUITED SUCCESSFULLY A CANADIAN PRO ATHLETE. COACH FRENCHIE COMPETES IN WEIGHT LIFTING AND OTHER VARIOUS THINGS SHE IS SPONSORED BY SOME MAJOR NATIONAL SPORTS COMPANIES. I HAVE ALSO RECRUITED SUCCESSFULLY A REGISTERED DIETICIAN. JESSICA KIM WORKS FOR ATI PHYSICAL THERAPY IN LAKEWOOD WA . SHE HAS BEEN MY NUTRITION COACH FROM THE GET GO OF MY OSTOMY SURGERY (5 YEARS). THEY BOTH ARE PROFESSIONAL IN THEIR CHOSEN FIELDS. I WILL ROUND IT OUT AS YOUR CHEF WITH NUTRITION TIDBITS AND EXCITING RECIPES. I ATTENDED THE CULINARY ARTS ACADEMY OF CALIFORNIA GRADUATING WITH A MASTERS CULINARY ART CERTIFICATION WITH THE MAIN FOCUS OF BEING A SEAFOOD AND SAVORY CHEF THEN I WAS INVITED TO ATTENDED THE SOUTH SEATTLE FRENCH BAKING/PASTRY ACADEMY AT SSCC AND GRADUATED FROM THERE AS A CERTIFIED PASTRY CHEF
I WILL WORK ON RECIPES FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD THAT WILL FIT INTO YOUR MEAL PLAN WITH THE SIMPLEST OF WAYS FOR YOU TO MAKE IT WORK FOR YOU. I WOULD LIKE YOU SUGGEST CUISINES THAT YOU LOVE, BUT ARE AFRAID OF BE CAUSE OF CARBS,SUGAR, ALL TYPES OF FAT SO ON SO FORTH.
AND YOU SAY TO ME WE CAN GET ALL OF THAT ON THE INTERNET GREG, ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS GOOGLE IT.... YES YOU CAN HOW EVER THIS IS GOING TO BE ON A PERSONAL LEVEL. YOU GET TO ASK US THE QUESTIONS THAT GOOGLE MAY GENERALIZE OR MAY NOT BE UP TO PAR ON IT. YOU GET TO REACH OUT TO 3 INDIVIDUALS THAT HAVE DEDICATED THEIR CAREERS TO BE THE VERY BEST AT IT. THIS IS ABOUT YOU THE MEMBER NOT ABOUT WHAT GOOGLE CAN DO .
I AM IN THE FINAL STAGES OF THE PLANNING FOR THIS PROGRAM AND I WILL ROLL IT OUT IN 2020. SO STAY TUNED FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THIS AND OTHER PROGRAMS THAT I AM CREATING AND WORKING ON.

I don't have any good tips for Tuesday, but maybe "Don't give up!". I'm nervous for weigh in tomorrow after the holiday, but I will keep on going on as always!
