Introducing MFP Forum Badges

Hey all! We are releasing a fun new forum feature on Tuesday (12/17), we'll be launching badges. The first set of badges we plan on launching will be automated, and earned when members hit certain goals.

For example:

Be You: Little things like uploading a profile picture make the community a better place.
First Reply: Posting is the best way to get involved. Thanks for being here!
Fourth Anniversary: Thank you for being in our community for four years!
250 Insightfuls: You received 250 Insightfuls. Looks like you're popular around these parts.

Important Note: When we are turning these on, you may see a few moments of weirdness... then those of you who have been here for a little while are going to start to get mega badges as you will earn badges for all of your forum activity since your account creation.

We hope to be turning this feature on today and when we first start the process we are expecting a bit of weirdness as systems sync up. Members are likely to see some badges come and then go and then come back again but look a bit different. Once everything is up and as we expect, we will post again here.

And once its launched, its still going to be considered in beta. Badges is a first for our community and we look forward to your feedback!

Badges have been turned on and are populating now. We will certainly have a few tweaks to work out and please keep in mind that forum badges are retroactive so there is going to be a lot of badge activity for our veterans today.

"See All" badges options will be available by end of day tomorrow.
