@jugar Yikes, I’m first! Oh the pressure. 😘 Ok, I’ll get something together. Do we send it to you first in a pm or just post it? How will that part work?

I'll open up the Announcement Saturday (Sunday will be too crazy!) so all you'll have to do is post your reading sometime during the day Sunday. Then same for each day - we just individually post what we want people to read, and then they can simply read it or post a reaction if they want to. Just put the day clearly at the top, and we'll be off and running. Or at least stumbling along.

When you open the announcement today, would you also please post the link to it here in our thread? That way, I'll know where to go come Tuesday. Thanks.

I agree with @matthewsfive ... Any loss in the right direction is a win win.

In other news, today starts my 2-day prep for my colonoscopy on Monday. Since my prepping over Thanksgiving break wasn't sufficient, I had to reschedule. That's why my prep is 2 days now instead of 1. It better work this time!

    Wonderful Team WaistAways!

All of our weights are reported for Week 3, and our beautiful reading thread for the coming week is up and already started with a poem posted by @micki48

    Enjoy!

I have made it to North Carolina after a long day of delays and the usual faffing about that makes travel a few days before Christmas SO much fun. I am having a lovely time with my mom - discussing everything under the sun. She is 89, and she inspires me every day! What an amazing person, who has discovered a lot, and will never stop learning new things. I miss the snow, but I have to admit, it was kind of fun to be able to just step outside without the crazy routine of scarf wrapping, boot decisions, gaiters or snowpants, down coat snapping vs zipping, hat(s), mitts or gloves, and just getting all the clothes put on or tightened up before going through any external door.

Have a lovely day - tallies will get done some time tomorrow and then we're already heading into week 4!

Do existing members have to re-register in light of F2F being "under new management?"

    Last December weigh-in: 204.8
A small drop but not too bad.

My holiday so far has been good. I slept until almost noon. Haven't done that since the last time I was sick.

Well Waistaways! We win week 3! Mostly thanks to @reflectionofme  but we'll take it however we get it, right? Our other losers certainly did their part to improve our team results over last week and give us a terrific showing in the tallies.

I'm having a great time down here in the land of above freezing temperatures, lovely people, and yummy foods. Going to a family dinner with my mom and one of her good friends, so there will certainly be too much of that! I'll try to control myself and talk more than I eat, and listen more than I talk (that's hard too!).

Good job on the sleep this morning, @Terytha. That must feel soo sooooooo good.

And please no worries about next month when Central Control begins its new conformation. I'm officially the owner, but that won't change much! You are automatically put on January team unless you ask to be moved or removed.

Please put that recruitment link to good use though! If you post on other forums or can send it along to friends who might be interested, we really need new members! Not just for our team, but for the challenge as a whole. Feel free to invite as many people as you want, and to brag about how fabulous we are

    have a good one!

Steppers - The results are in. Our steps were down considerably this week. We had lots of empty boxes from missing steps.

We walked a total of 328,933 steps which is 144 miles or 232 km.

    And our winners are:

    🎉👏🏼🎉👏🏼🎉👏🏼🎉👏🏼
    1st - @Steph1498
    2nd - @jugar
    3rd - @offitgoes

Well done steppers!!! Now let’s hear from everybody this week and see if we can get those steps back up. We have 2 more weeks left in December. Let’s end the year strong.
