    You walk between pokestops so the game encourages you to get out in the fresh air!
    When you get to a poke stop you can get various gifts so the more you visit the more poke balls, eggs and gifts you get. Try it and see how you get on. But stay safe. No wandering into roads or streams etc....

    I still play but not much during winter. I'm still out in the winter weather all the time, but at times the game can be quite active and I don't want to take my gloves off constantly. Once it warms up, I start playing regularly again.

    Yep. In south UK. I'm pretty rural so spinning and getting gifts is a bit tricky but I still send as many as I can.

    Have you got the ability to add new stops in your settings?

    My town has gone from central being packed with stops and not much outside to stops absolutely everywhere!

    There are new stops near me too! I try and get out each lunchtime.

    It might be only level 40s who can request them? I've had 3 or 4 approved and a few which have only appeared in ingress. If you see a post box or sign in a park or something on your walk you will be able to get it as a pokestop if there aren't any very close to it.

    My house went from being over 1 mile from the closest pokestop. It now has 5 gyms and approx 15 stops within that mile.

    I cycle 5-7 miles most mornings and afternoons to and from work so hit 40 or so stops a day and a few gyms to quickly put one in if they're already blue and have space. I don't like stopping and battling when cycling...
