    CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT: 272

    Jan 1: 272 down -5 for 2019 boo, I can do much better than that
    Jan. 6: 270 good start and no doubt dropping some holiday weight
    Jan. 13: 269 slow and steady I'm ok with this.
    Jan. 20: 267.0 down 5 so far that's a good start for 2020, looking forward to next week
    Jan. 27: 266.0 knocked off another pound yay. Down 6 on the year whoot whoot
    Jan. 31: 264,1 a great month and start for 2020, -8 lbs wow.

    This weeks weight is not great. I have been dealing with sick kiddos for the past 2 weeks and know I have put myself on the backburner. It shows in the direction the scale is moving. Each day is a fresh start though, so here we go.

    Original starting weight (March 2013) - 175.4
    Original MFP starting weight (January 2018) - 168.2
    December 21, 2019 starting weight - 144.2 (ten-day rolling average 144.6)
    Ultimate goal - Maintain around 143 (range between 140 - 150)

    I had achieved my goal last Winter and gone into maintenance. I hope y'all don't mind a maintainer in here as an interloper. When you get to your goal, you'll see that maintenance is still a challenge. I have mostly stayed within my goal range, but have bounced around a bit.

    January Actual: By scale, depending which day you look at, I either gained an insignificant 0.2 poounds or lost almost a pound. By average weight, I'm down a little bit. I had a Bagel Disaster a week ago and had a weight spike that I'm finally getting over. Whew. I am optimistic I can stay at my long term goal of 143 with small fluctuations.

    February Actual: No report here; it's the first day of the month. But I'm down over a pound from yesterday, and down two pounds from the really bad day four days ago.

    Actual Weight loss for the challenge: After the gains in October through November, I'm really happy to be back right at my maintenance weight.

    Jan. 6: 191.8 A nice small overnight drop. I need better choices & more water.
    Jan. 13: 195.4 I am really fighting severe glucose drops & frenzied eating to bring it back up. Horrid! Until my blood sugar stabilizes, I can't begin to set each month's goal. I will get there....
    Jan. 20: 189.7 Its been a week of blood glucose highs and lows. Slowly I am re-adjusting my body to my original meal plan & exercise goals. Each day finds me feeling a bit better and closer to better numbers all around. It’s nice to see this drop. It was done slowly, a little everyday for the most part.
    Jan. 27: 190.0 I made goal right on target but with a severe struggle due to the glucose issues. I am still actively work hard on that and hope I can get it resolved soon.
    Jan. 31: 191.6 I’m not ending this month very well. It will be a catchup game in February.
