HELP! Signed up for a bake sale... what do I bring??

For bake sales you could package things smaller, so for example make banana bread in those disposable 3x5" tins. After they are completely cooled, I put in an open-ended 1 QT food storage bag (so not ziplock) and tie with a ribbon that I curl with a knife.

If you make several dozen cookies, you can also package them in 1 QT food storage bags with ribbons. Quantity will depend on size of cookies, but again, since it is a bake sale, less than if you were giving as a gift.

You could ask the organizer for suggestions.

Everyone I bake for loves these Classic Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies. There was a Christmas cookie thread here last year that might give you some ideas - one idea I got from it was to use chocolate stars instead of the Kisses. (If you have someone to delegate unwrapping the Kisses, you'll appreciate that.)

Ok, now I want banana bread...

Muffins...cupcakes, brownies, cookies. Etc.

Whatever you make, just be sure to give an ingredient list. As someone with allergies, this is a must for me.

How comfortable are you with your baking abilities? When I go to bake sales, I make cream puffs. I bake the choux paste and take the whipped cream with me. Fill them upon purchase and they can be taken home or eaten right there. I usually sell out in the first 30 minutes.
