How long in maintenance: I hit my goal weight in the beginning of January 2018, but officially started maintenance in mid-March 2018 after figuring out my calories for a couple of months.
    Maintenance weight range: 108-112.5
Average weight recorded from 2018 (12 months): 109.8
Average weight recorded for 2019 (12 months): 111.2

Average weight recorded for Dec 2019: 111.3
Average weight recorded for January 2020: 111.9

    Week of..
    Feb 1: 111.5 (trend 111.7)

    Feb 15: 111.4 (trend 111.7)

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: My average weight is back down to where it was at the beginning of the month, with the last two weigh-ins being 110.8 and 110.6, which I haven't seen since mid-January. I'm slowly but surely moving back down towards the middle of my range.

Average weight recorded for 2019: about 52kg

I stacked on about 4kg over november-january when we had visitors and holidays and a lot of diversions from the normal routine, so in January and February i'm actually trying to lose it again

Average weight recorded from January: Went from approx 55kg to 53.6kg

Had a good disciplined week (apart from a party yesterday, but lets move on.......). Was 53.1 for quite a few days in a row but had the last two days of the week in the 52's so expecting to be there next week. I'm completely happy at this weight, but just want to continue a couple more weeks on losing mode to get a little wiggle room :)

Have a great week.

Hi! My name is Kristen. And I struggle to maintain my weight. I have had great success losing/gaining, but I'm hoping this group helps me be more accountable. I weigh only 1x week on Sundays, so that's when I'll check in. My 2 goals in 2020 are to not let the scale go above 153 and weigh in EVERY Sunday for the WHOLE YEAR. This seems easy to most, but I get lazy and make excuses why I don't need to weigh in and then all of a sudden everything in my closet has shrunk. LOL

    Maintenance weight range: 147 - 153

Average weight recorded for September: 160.1
Average weight recorded for October: 154.0

    February 9th: 144.0(Trend Weight 144.0)
    February 16th: 142.9(Trend Weight 143.3)
    February 23rd:

Successes: Definitely are more this week, yet saw a drop on the scale. :( I have 2 days off work this week to celebrate my BF turning 39, so maybe I'll have an off plan day or 2.

Struggles: Not really feeling like I'm struggling, yet the scale keeps dropping. Gonna have to eat more! Which normally would be exciting, right?

Here is to a great week!

HEAVIEST weight: 175.4 in early 2013.
    Total Weight lost: 30 pounds
Time it took to lose: ~6 months
How long in maintenance: Since July 2018 -- but with some fluctuation outside of goal range.
Maintenance weight range: 142 - 148 (and not sure that's the right answer)

Average weight recorded from 2017 (12 months): 163.8
Average weight recorded from 2018 (12 months): 150.7
Average weight recorded from 2019 (12 months): 144.8

Average weight recorded from December 2019: 145.0
Average weight recorded from January 2020: 143.7

    Average weight Week of...
    January 27 - February 2......145.4
    February 3 - 9.....................144.1
    February 10 - 16................. 144.8
    February 17 - 23.................
    February 23 - March 1........

Success of the week: I have been holding pretty steady. My trend weight has been fluctuating in a range less than two pounds for a few months. Today's scale weight is up from big ol' burrito (lots of salt), but I expect that to moderate and I can get that trend down about 1.2 pounds back to my goal.... again.

Struggle of the week: Same as last week - the tenacity of the last two or three pounds above goal. But this is why having a range is so helpful; a few days up are counterbalanced by a few days down, but it's still a challenge. Same as last week, overall, still happy with maintaining in my range even though I am still maintaining with a trend just a hair above where I'd like it.

It's really just a pound, and I have a new scale that I don't yet use that reads about a pound lower than the scale I've used six years. Two ways I could get to goal would be to either move my goal up one damn pound (I could even leave my range the same, just move the target a tiny bit) or I could just start using the new scale. Is that cheating? Maybe. For now I'm holding steady; maintaining the course so to speak.

Here's my plot - i'm same as you with trying to keep in a range (the orange box in my case). You can see things got a little out of hand at the end of last year, and i now have the last pesky couple of lbs to go to get back there - haven't mastered maintaining as well as you yet.....

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: Scale weight and trend are both up a little this week, so I guess I am at least getting where I need to be. My weigh-ins this week were mostly in the 114's with just one or two weight-ins a little lower. Today's weight was the lowest and Wednesday and Thursday were the highest. I'm not going to worry about it unless the trend starts to drop. As long as the trend is 113-114 then I am ok with that. I am actually ok with my scale weight going up to 119 or 120, I just would like the trend to be around 115 and I don't want it below 113.

Wow! You've done way better than I have. You quickly lost 20 kilos in short order. I lost about 15 but over a longer period. One thing I've found that's comforting is that over the last 18 months, those pesky swings have become a little smaller. At least that is how I'm reading my graph. The chart I posted a week ago was from the past year. When I look at the picture going back to "the beginning," it tells a good story. Those first months of maintenance were a roller coaster. Now it's just a kiddie ride. But if I'm not vigilant, it will get scary again. Just keep doing what you're doing!

Here's the chart back to June 2017 when I started in earnest. Note I got to my maintenance RANGE in June or July 2018, but didn't really get to my ultimate goal for a while, I kept having swings but they would come back down, and those swings did eventually get smaller:
    yonxfhmi03vv.png

Now I am sweating the small stuff.

This is what it looks like when you aren't really making the effort you need to (back to 2013 when I was my heaviest). Blue dots are daily weights, green line is a simple ten-day rolling average calculated by Excel.
    6sk1dxlmuj6d.png

You can see I made a few attempts, lame for sure. Then I got serious, and it works brothers and sisters!

Ha! Well, there you're wrong, since losing slowly is better, by all accounts (i find it too hard to go slowly - i need positive vibes from my scales as frequently as possible!!)

Love to see people's graphs - thanks for posting the other pics.

I do believe that all these previous attempts at losing, and then somehow gaining again, have to happen for a lot of people too - you learn stuff along the way - it's called practising, and hopefully we get better with it! :)

How long in maintenance: 6 weeks (06/01/20)
Maintenance weight range: 63.5-66.5 kg (140-147 lbs) [N.B. Will reevaluate this range based on DEXA scan results - will get scan in a couple weeks time.]

    Monthly Averages:
    January 2020 average = 64.9 kgs (143.1 lbs)

    February weigh ins:
    Feb 03: 63.1 kgs (139.1 lbs)
    Feb 10: 65.5 kgs (144.4 lbs)
    Feb 17: 64.4 kgs (142.0 lbs)
    Feb 24:

Success of the week: I'm starting to feel a bit more comfortable with maintenance. More confident that "I got this". My original weightloss came from eating liberal LCHF wholefoods and regular intermittent fasting, and I wasn't sure what balance of eating/fasting to do for maintenance (if fasting was still suitable), but what I'm trying now is to do 5 days of approx 17:7 2MAD and two days of fasting each week (the fasting days separated by eating days). If my weight drops low I can always skip some fasts until I'm back in the right range. I feel better when I get to do at least one fast a week.

Struggle of the week: Struggles of being a parent, juggling other life responsibilities, feeling like can never get on top of everything. For two weeks my teen was doing really well trying to eat healthily (she eats so much junk normally, no matter what I do, but she set herself a goal to become healthy and made some great changes), but she threw in the towel on Valentines' day - made it her "cheat day" but then it became two days, then three days, now four days, every day going overboard because it is a "cheat day", and no end in sight... It's so obvious to me and her dad how her mood and behaviour is affected by what she eats, and of course I am concerned about her health too.

Successes/struggles: Nearly 5 weeks post-op, still making progress. I can’t do “proper” exercise but I’m walking quite a lot, up to 7,000 steps a day. I try to do seated exercises, lots of punching up to raise my heart rate and get my muscles moving. I’m on my own more now, cooking for myself, but housework is still difficult.
My weight has fluctuated a lot over the last week – not sure what to make of today’s weight, was only 50.7 on Saturday. Trend is still under 51 kg.
