At the beginning of the year, I wrote down my health and fitness goals for 2020. For weight loss, I wanted to hit 135 by 3/1, so woo hoo, hit that goal with a week to spare 🥳. Next weight goal was 132 by the time I go on Spring Break: 4/4. Fitness goal is on track too- I’m about halfway through my half marathon training and no major injuries.
I’m approaching my water weight gain TOM, so I expect the next week will be challenging. Have a good week everyone!!5 -

Total loss: 10 pounds so far (I knew I had a great amount of water weight coming off at first). I finally got on the elliptical two days ago. 20 minutes Wedn. and 30 minutes yesterday. I want to get back to the gym soon. Staying within calories has been going surprisingly well so far. I am sticking to 1200 calories a day, and adding some for exercise. My calorie needs to maintain around 140 pounds (whenever I get there) are quite low from past experience. I need to get to a place where this becomes a lifestyle and not a temporary means to weight loss. I think I am looking at about 1500 to 1600 cal for life to not put it all back on. This must be age and metabolism because I know I used to be able to eat a lot more without gaining weight! (I am 49 years old).4 -
MY NAME IS DONNA. I AM 59 YEARS YOUNG & FROM THE MIDWEST USA. I AM APPROX 5’ 5” TALL.

February 01: 191.6 Good luck everyone!
February 08: 192.0 I started my new plan in order to figure out what is going on with my glucose numbers. Watching calories more than carbs this time (glucose has been running too low!). Today and yesterday found my glucose too high so I will continue to tweak to see if I can come up with a good weight loss plan without hurting my T2D efforts. I am down 0.1 from yesterday which I will call a normal fluctuation.
February 15: 194.8 Clearly my Valentine’s Day was wonderful and full of food and candy-filled surprises. Back at it today.
February 22: 195.0 My weight went up this past week after travel and more glucose problems. At a snail’s pace, it is slowly coming back down over the past 2 days. I hope next week’s weight will be even better!

I have been tracking, and I thought I had posted weekly weights, but I can't find them. I have got back down below 150, but it's slow going.
Let's try this again. Never give up! Never give in!

I am still pushing for that 180's by March 1st! I got out walking for 1.5 hours yesterday, and am starting a new dumbbell weight lifting routine today.
I plan on working out at home, I have many dumbbells, a barbell and a bow flex. It's hard to actually measure weight on the bowflex, so I prefer the free weights.
Is anyone else working out at home?4 -
Here is a pic from my hike. I loove the sunshine!

I stationary bike and treadmill at home along with beginning to use dumbbells. The treadmill and bike have calorie counters on them.
I was hoping to see 189 on Sunday 01 March, but currently 195 does not seem rational to see 189 in 6 days.
