    I edited my goal (lowered it!) mid way through Feb, and still didn’t make it. I had a lot of changes this month so I’m good with my 1/week average, even as scale bounced around. So ready to see that 199!!!

    My name is Donna. I am 59 years young, 5’ 5” tall and from the Midwest.

    Original starting weight – 253.0
    February starting weight (based on final weight on Jan 31st)– 191.6
    February goal – 189.6
    Ultimate goal – 145.0 – 155.0 (We’ll see how I look and feel when I get there)

    February 01 - 191.6 Good luck everyone!

    February 08 - 192.0 I started my new plan in order to figure out what is going on with my glucose numbers. Watching calories more than carbs this time (glucose has been running too low!). Today and yesterday found my glucose too high so I will continue to tweak to see if I can come up with a good weight loss plan without hurting my T2D efforts. I am down 0.1 from yesterday which I will call a normal fluctuation.


    February 15 - 194.8 Experiments don’t work when things keep getting in the way. Uggg. Valentine’s day was wonderful and I appreciated all the surprises from my adult kids, but it didn’t help my cause. Back at it today!
    February 22 - 195.0 My weight went up after travel this past week and some glucose issues, but is slowly working its way back down. At a snail’s pace, but in the right direction.
    February 29 – 198.6 Out to dinner last night. I only ate half but carbs hate me. Not a good way to end a challenge. I gained 3 pounds overnight.

    Total loss for February- + 7.0 lb GAIN March will be better. I owe it to myself!
