03/18 183.6 👇 (-2.4) I ended off last round pretty discouraged and woke up today having dropped 2.4 lbs. I made RG after all! I'm guessing that last rounds fluctuations were water so I'm not sure if I will continue to drop fast. Goal is to stick to my daily workouts (21 Day Fix Extreme), stick to my WOE (dr prescribed clean and lower fat keto)

I’m still going to work since they haven’t shut down and I don’t see them doing it unless the governor does it for the whole state. We’ll see! Taking it day by day!)

@matratazola welcome back, good to hear you are feeling better.
We're in such crazy times at the moment world wide. I'm in the UK, things changing constantly here, no lock down yet, but who knows what the future holds. Just keep washing hands etc. trying to offer help to community for other vulnerable people in area without much success at the moment, feel very frustrated & feeling for all those more affected then myself. Wishing everyone on here not too badly affected, continue to keep in touch.
@musicsax Thank you! I hope all goes ok for you, it's very confusing with all the different messages out there! take care xxxx

The colleges have moved to online classes. The schools are only right now closed for the week but are preparing to move kids to online as well. Very thankful my senior and I already homeschool, and the governor forgave this week, so my son and I are carrying on and will get out a week early, yay, he works for a farmer so that will be better for springs work. The stores are not crazy here in ND except for Walmart and more chain stores are having a hard time stocking some things but our local grocery chains are fine. But most people are farmers and ranchers, living in a winter state we are prepared for blizzards or power outages so stocking up is normal. Like us, we have several freezers, because you get your meat by the whole animal, most garden and can. What is flying off the shelves here is ammo and guns because how can you protect your preparedness with out it during these times of craziness. Expecting crime to sky rocket if this does continue as the cities push outward. So far businesses are open but many are volunteering to close but have drive through open. My husbands place of work will not close nor do I see them closing those types of businesses no matter how bad it gets, he works at a place that provides services to farmers, fertilizer, fuel, creep feed, mechanic work, etc. Sort of like a gas station but broader for farmers. Spring time is coming and farmers will need to farm. GrammaJackie, reading your post about deployment, made me realize I am so glad that they needed my son to stay back when his unit deployed last fall and hold down the fort. It does not sound good over in the Middle East for the virus. Prayers for everyone.

DAY / WEIGHT / COMMENT
03.18 / 93.6kg / We're on lockdown, advised to stay at home, social businesses are closed, social gatherings are discouraged, so we get no visitors, mostly because me and my kids are all sick (regular seasonal flu). Older one is 3 and a half, younger is a year and two months old, and staying at home all day alone with a huge list of treatments for all three of us has been stressful, trying to be on top of everything for them has left me slide back into emotional eating. We don't keep junk food at home so at least it's nothing like that, but it's noon and I've already shot my calories for the day, and I'm afraid if I slip back into this without hitting the breaks somehow I'll lose the progress from the past month. So I'm happy to have found the challenge and I think having to add those comments will help as well to process things.

Started MFP 12/27/19 - Heaviest Weight Ever - 186.0
Round 100 -7.6 lbs (actually 12 days - includes the 2 initial days on MFP)
Round 101 -1.9 lbs
Round 102 -1.5 lbs
Round 103 +2.5 lbs
Round 104 -2.6 lbs
Round 105 -0.6 lbs
Round 106 -0.4 lbs
Round 107 -0.7 lbs
Round 108 Goal: Just try to keep my head in the game with everything going on. That's it - if I can do that then I succeeded this round. It's easy to lose perspective when all of a sudden losing weight seems trivial compared to everything else. But I'm keeping in mind it's about being healthy and strong (emotionally, mentally and physically) and that takes on even more importance now.
03/17: 173.2 (end of round 107)
03/18: 173.4 Starting round up but it's normal fluctuation so no worries.
When I joined this group, I thought it was all about losing weight but now know it's much more than that. The support here is amazing during normal times but takes on even more importance during hard times. It's comforting to know you have a group of people that are so caring and kind and we can help each other during this difficult time. I'm so glad people are relaying what's going on in their state/country and their own personal stories. It keeps us connected (around the world) when we are physically in isolation.
Stay safe!
Debra
Short-Term Goal: Back into the 160's!
Long-Term Goal: Don't wear sweat pants or ANY pants with elastic for an entire year! I don't even know what a belt is any more!

@zaraizzy1 Happy Birthday!! I’m sorry you’re home alone sick and hope you get well soon.
@jamfullhouse I homeschool as well and my husband is getting a lot of questions about it at work because they’ve shut down schools here for the rest of this school year. I think because it’s government ordered they will still get credit for the year, but if nothing is done I suspect next year will be a struggle for a lot of them. I really feel sorry for the kids whose college plans may be affected by all this.

@zaraizzy1 I hope your birthday is a great, peaceful day! Feel better!!6

3/18 - 180.8
In a weird way I’m fine with holding steady within a pound of 180 for the past 5 weeks. I’m no longer gaining as I was, my metabolism is settling down, and I’m getting a good sense of what my maintenance calories really are. I haven’t been exercising much but as the weather warms up I’ll get back to walking long distances and I’m planning to expand one garden and plant a new herb garden (assuming the nurseries are open), so that will help. I also have some house painting (inside) left to do, so if I can keep my calories steady, I should start to lose again. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Now to shake this stupid cold! I hope you’re all finding ways to stay calm and healthy and in touch through these chaotic times.

03/18 - DNW - I honestly forgot about it. I have an ick "head cold" (not the virus, its from the sudden change with allergies to/from TX). Just a slightly stuffy nose and some mucus that's drained to my throat. Woke up with cotton mouth and chugged water before I ever even got out of bed. Forgot I was going to weigh in today until I got out of bed a few minutes later. Oops! I think I know where my claritin is and I'm going in search of it through the packing madness in my house. Definitely need to focus on my water, I'm so dehydrated. My skin and body are showing it (like giving myself a bloody lip this AM when it cracked from dryness). I'm sure it'll also help with hunger as yesterday I could NOT be satisfied. I'd eat and still be hungry. It was madness. Today should be better, especially with water. Going to make some tea, as well, for caffeine since I already packed and moved my coffee pot. Body slowly adjusting to less and less caffeine throughout this, at least. I will weigh in 2 more days and then hopefully have a chance next week sometime once I start unpacking. I'd like to see some progress during this round, but only time will tell...

@jamfullhouse You reminded me of growing up on the farm with your post. I miss it so so much. When I found out I was moving to TX, I decided I was going to try to garden. Unfortunately, we rent, so I'm working on research while I'm remotely working for what will grow best in pots. Your post definitely fueled that little spark inside of me that has been impatient to provide for myself, so thank you.9
