Unfortunately my mom doesn't have a cell phone or a computer. I call her throughout the day to hear what's new and follow up with hospital staff to receive lab results etc. Thank you CupcakeCrusoe for reaching out..I really appreciated it.

Breakfast: my favourite sandwich - whole grain bread, lower-fat cheddar, smoked salmon, and sauerkraut, toasted in the panini maker. High protein bliss for around 450 calories.

Lunch: a spinach and feta filo pastry at my favourite café, estimated st 400 calories (arrived at by taking a commercial product of the same weight and logging two servings). Green salad splashed with balsamic vinegar

Dinner: TBC but will be between 500-650 calories

I seldom snack. If I do, I’ll have a piece of cheese or a few marinated mussels, a piece of fruit or a bliss ball of some kind.
