Hard to believe it’s April, March was a very long, strange month but I guess I should get used to it since the school just got cancelled through the end of this year.8 -
@HASWLRS Hi from Rick: No need to apologize!! I've been leading this group for close to 4 years. Between my asthma and my lumbar issues, some days, 20+ minutes of active stretching and/or 20+ minutes out for slow walk are what I can do.
There are others in the group for whom a slow day is over an hour of vigorous cardio and strength exercises.
We are on this team together for mutual accountability, inspiration, compassion, and camaraderie. We exercise based on what we each choose to do. We choose our own calorie limit. We eat our own food choices.
No worries and no comparisons!
Thanks for being on the UAC Team!

While many have had limits places on their physical range of (geographic) motion / freedom of movement just now - maybe try getting the creative juices flowing a bit more freely? Wander over to the What's On Your Mind Today? page and see if anything appeals to you ...
other posters were there ahead of me and I saw some great coping advice plus a major milestone celebration as well.4 -

I got April off on the right foot
Exercise + yes
Tracking = yes
Budget = yesSpringtime - I got back to my old friend "The Road."
I feel like I got older this winter.
It took me a half hour longer to get to 2,000.
I couldn't descent in a straight shot either. Had to stop a couple of times to shake out my neck, shoulders and hands.
But hey, not to worry it is the first of the season or the first I been there in a while anyway.
Digging through my records, I am weird about record keeping. For March I am off about 5,000 from March of the previous two years.
I am still sore. That has me thinking about restrategizing my ambitions.
I seen a guy I ain't seen all winter. I park kind of near the bottom of his driveway.
He's a cranky old guy that I didn't like right off. But these days there is kind of a weird spiritual uptick when you see someone that is a good bit older than you back out in the Spring. He told me that he done a cruise to Greece and a river cruise up the Nile since I seen him last. Heh, my budget has bike riding in it.
That's alright.
I seen some bear sign on one of my side excursions. Bears can't really be up this early or up and stay up anyway. They can maybe turn over a rock or two, look for some grubs, then go back to bed. I hope they don't wake up hungry for bike riders.
Buddy is coming over tomorrow. I wish I could record his laughter and his antics and play it for people who get stressed out and depressed. There ain't no depression around that little guy. My funny little boy.8 -
