Michele, I ordered a kit thru Amazon, there is a coded pattern to follow and there are spaces to do the personalization as well as a chart to show what the letters and numbers should look like. I'll have to write the letters and numbers on to the pattern and use that as a guide when I do the embridery. Several of my friends have Dona a lot of cross stitch, I have not been a embroidered but have done these projects. Did one for my grandson so only fair that my granddaughter gets one too. I also got a small one for my son and daughter in law for their wedding. That will be the last embroidery project for me! Getting too hard to see.

I taught Daughter calligraphy after I found out the schools do not.I also taught her cursive they did not. Trying to figure out what age this is good to tackle with a boy since the schools no longer teach penman ship here. They taught Daughter how to make a formal email not regular letter.Such a different era but guess it’s the same thing just computerized versions. I still like to write some stuff old fashion have used the skills many times to draw up birthday invitations to write a boss a formal letter for a pay raise to time off. Can’t picture not knowing these things yet so many don’t anymore yet their bosses are usually the older generations. Daughter drawing ✍️ y using her calligraphy skills on paper then turns it into computer art for her friends now.

Made boiled 2 🥚 eggs,1 toast,y 1 baked potatoe per meal for tomorrow gotta make the meals y money stretch like a rubber band. For hubby fried egg,toast,y not sure yet. JR quesadilla y not sure yet. Still waiting on The last of my groceries I ordered a month ago good news is a couple cans of soup made it out of back order is heading my way. Cream of mushroom yummy can make casseroles with it to soups 1/2 can each with almond milk 🥛. Might add some meat if I have it. Looking forward to it4 -

DH was fussing with me because he believes I spend too much time sitting at the computer. He wants me to take time to go outside and walk the dog or just walk. It just so happened that today Amazon delivered an extra tough dog toy for Blue. I actually had fun throwing it for him. He was tuckered out. We haven’t heard a peep from him since he came in this evening. That was fun. I am looking forward to playing again tomorrow.

Michele: That cheeseburger cake is beautiful! I believe you get a warning and it’s recorded; the second time you get a citation and it’s recorded. I don’t know what happens the third time.
Machka: We rent a 1800 square foot house for $1200 a month. Wow! I really feel fortunate.

Reward: inventory seeds, plan garden, order replenishments.Blew that. Joe took the dogs and me to the beach for a walk. The trail was muddy, slippery and steep. Joe offered his arm but flexibly when I needed a virtual stick to lean on. After asking him several times for support I finally snapped at him that I needed his arm to be STRAIGHT and STRONG because I was AFRAID. Grr. Really hate both admitting my fear and taking it out on Joe. Turned out there was a sign at the bottom of the trail saying the beach was closed.
Fortunately Joe is very forgiving and we took the dogs for a walk around the community college, ending the outing amicably.

Welcome back SaraKratos. During the depression my grandmother rented a large house and ran a boarding house from it. When her boarders couldn’t pay neither could she pay her rent. After some months, the owner came to her and said something like “I have to pay the taxes on this property. I am cancelling your back rent and reducing your rent to XX (a fraction of what it was before) but please PLEASE find a way to pay that or we both will lose the house. My father was forever grateful. It was one of the strongest memories of a positive male influence on his life.

I had good luck shopping today and was able to buy a package of TP. YAY! Buying food items has not been a problem so far.
Talked to our daughter today & she is home sick. She sounded like she has a cold/ flu. She was upbeat & happy during our call. I’m trying not to worry. She sounded good. Her boss is pressuring her to come in, but she is staying at home until she’s better. ❤️5 -
Yeah! I've just made my first butcher's order by phone. They will deliver probably today, or maybe tomorrow. They are only just around the corner, but have shut the doors.
One of the things I ordered was a shoulder of lamb, which we were going to have this weekend as a treat for my son. Originally he and the kids were coming for a sleepover while DDIL was having her girlfriends over for a party. My choice was lamb because she doesn't like it. I cook it very slowly roasted in beer with lots of herbs and garlic. So I decided to have it anyway. I will torment him with it. 
I still have roast potatoes and parsnips prepped and blanched in the freezer left over from Christmas, so we are ready to go! They will go in the small oven on hot.
The very nice butcher said that it was all going well so far. "A bit frantic". Which is good news for us as one of the main reasons we moved into this road was the brilliant local shops. I would hate to lose them. The cafes are shut up, the hairdressers, the beauty shop, the flower shop. Just the newsagent and the deli open. Plus the off licence.
Tonight is veal escalopes with zucchini and a few oven fries.
Probably run today before the weekend. It's going to be hot on Sunday. Hope it doesn't attract the crowds down here. I think the police may go out on patrol.

I need to pop to the chemist this morning for mums meds. Last time I went to that chemist they were only allowing two people in at a time and I was 10th in the queue outside.
I was there ages, so next time asked the doctor to send mums prescription to a chemist nearer to me and less busy, which they did I collected it yesterday, but found another prescription has gone to the previous chemist 
I tried to contact them to see if they could deliver it, but I can't get through on the phone. I'll just have to go and collect it and be prepared for a long wait.
On the same note (sort of) when I went to the nearby chemist yesterday there was a sign on the door with all the usual Covid-19 information like stop don't come in with symptoms etc but this time there was also a sign asking to knock on the door which I did and someone came - opened the door a fraction and asked what I wanted, they were certainly taking no chances with the social distancing. I wonder if the other chemist is doing the same and only dispensing medicine from the front door?
A little worried about DS he's not been feeling too well the last two days, he works as a delivery driver so is in contact with people. He was feeling achey on Wednesday and when he came home last night (Thursday) said he had a tight feeling in his chest but his breathing is okay, he's had a cough on and off since January and had an infection in his stomach. He was on antibiotics for a week or two, I'm not sure if he ever went back to see if the infection had cleared up. What is it with men and not looking after themselves properly! I'll have to see how he feels when he gets up.
Time to exercise.

Greetings from sunny SFL.
My mind is working a little slowly today. I guess it's due to awakening at 3:00 am again. I finally figured out my issue. I am normally a very very early bird. My normal wake time is between 4:00 to 5:00 am. With the time change that has changed to 3:00 to 4:00 am. My body just seems to like standard time! Hence why I pray one day DST will end. Yes, many will not agree, but it is my opinion.
Many things to be grateful for this morning. Too many to list. Here are a few running through my mind.- I am grateful for another sweet day. It is mine to make it what I want it to be.
- I am grateful it is Friday! I am so looking forward to spending time in the garden this weekend.
- I am grateful for the quiet time this moment in history has provided. It is allowing me to contemplate what is really important in my life and how I want to continue forward.
- I am grateful for my total health. My body, mind, and soul are much stronger than I give them credit.
It is my wish each one of you finds something in your day that makes you warm and happy.
