This round's goals:
-no eating after 7 pm
-only water, black coffee, or unsweet tea
-no snacking
-move a bit more
-track everything that enters my mouth (probably will stick to around 1300 calories since I've been so sedentary)

Starting on the 18th at 139.9. I'm up about 5/6 pounds this quarantine because of being sedentary and snacking all the time. I want to get back to where I was (135, 134.5).

Hopefully I can get to 138.5 by the end of this! (roughly 1 pound / week)

Looking forward:
I'm just too danged cussed to let this thing knock me back, and ruin all the effort I have put in to get here. I am stepping up my routine, and taking control. Sheltering in place means I can fully concentrate on getting in my exercise, and preparing healthy food.

April: focus on maintaining and increasing my progress
2020: Goal is to stabilise weight around 145
Strengthen strategies to reframe the tendency to use unhealthy snack food as a reward/treat.
Make sure I have prepared healthy snacks available
Cut down on eating between meals

Never give up! Never give in!
Back Story:

2018 goal: get back down to 160 ✅
2019 goal: proceed down to 150 ✅ with 2 months to spare
2020 goal: maintain below 150 dropping slowly down to 145 ✅ So far, so good.
That's a WIN in my book!

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.

Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

Stick with the process. It DOES work! But it does take time, effort, and most of all, patience!

04/17 …..202.3 ….. Any drop is a good drop. The goal is to type my weight in pink as much as possible. My plan has been to take several small walks per day of 10-20 minutes to avoid the sugar drops. I then add them up at the end of the day to submit to MFP. The calorie burn is not working out to be as much as one long steady walk and stretch of time, but I guess it really shouldn’t. So far, it has been easier to stick to plan without the glucose drops. I am still reserving some carbs (like cottage cheese or an Atkins bar) for late night in case it happens. With less travel, I know I can do better as I try to keep my home a safe zone. There are some temptations because of food my son eats (We all know its harder to follow plan when you must cook for your family). Overall, I just want to be ready for summer if it ever comes (snow again yesterday, today a bit better). Lots of good inspirations kick me into gear but the other day I was trying to get in a walking set while on the phone (not fast walking,) and my cousin on the other end asked me if I was walking or working because I was breathing so hard! That was the last straw! It wasn’t like that last summer/fall so I’ve got some work to do right NOW, not later. I am happy that the last two round showed a loss (no matter how small) and I have began this round with a teensy loss so I am still on the right path. Even if I lose the equivalent of a drop of sweat, I am a happy girl right now to be eating right and moving again! Welcome all newbies and good luck everyone this round!

04/18 …..202.3 ….. Sometimes I expect the scale to go down EVERY SINGLE DAY but, of course, in reality it does not work that way. I had another great day yesterday with my diet plan and my movement. I walked over 80 minutes of planned walks total in five smaller sets and avoided the glucose drops again. I am really training my body like I had to when I first started my journey. Reading over my journal has really helped remind me of some of the tools I used. I am feeling really great today because I know I am in training for my nice long trail walks and neighborhood walks again! come on nice weather!

Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight – I'm working at it – it's a permanent way of life !

04/17 134 – thought this was too good to be true yesterday! But I'm ok with it. 8.77 miles walked yesterday. Did take back a lot of my exercise calories yesterday on my birthday, hubby bbq'd a delicious steak & opened a bottle of prosecco. 199 calories in credit, all other macros in green.
04/18 134.4 – 12.44 miles walked yesterday, 601 calories in credit & all other macros in green.
04/19 134.4 – 7.7 miles walked yesterday, 280 calories in credit, but 22 carbs over (pizza last night). Lockdown getting me down at the mo. So missing my family especially my little DGC

Being at home seems to mean way less steps. Barely made it over 1000 steps by 4pm on Friday when I clocked out. Eating is better since we are cooking but I am hit or miss on actual tracking. Skipped the barn yesterday since it was wet and we couldn’t ride outside. Didn’t make it over 1000 steps 2nd day in a row. Need to attempt to get outside today!!!!

R110 EW - 81kg (-0.2kg) - Joined with four days to go

I have been meaning to lose the last few KG to get down to my 75kg goal. Now nothing is open I thought this would be the perfect time to get there. I have been sitting around my current weight since August 2018 so I am comfortable with my maintenance lifestyle but always had that end goal in the back of my mind that I set in October 2017!

17/04 - 80.4kg - Rest day - 2000 calories - 3.2 miles walked

18/04 - 80.7kg - Workout day - 2500 calories - 3.2 miles walked - HASfit 60 minute total body strength workout

19/04 - 80.6kg - Since lockdown started 4 weeks ago we have started making Saturday night game night, I whipped up a Chicken Tikka Masala from scratch for the whole family. We then played scrabble, monopoly, jenga and poker until midnight! Everyone was on the beers yesterday but I found I didn't really feel like I was missing out as I had something to keep me occupied. Got up this morning and did a HASfit 45 minute kickboxing cardio workout, which was amazing!

Forget about the number of the scale day to day, if you keep up the good habits and stay honest with yourself that number in 10 days time will be further from where you started and closer to where you want to be!

If you ever feel down and head to the snack draw to get something sweet or something you don't need to eat. Think about the real reason you started this journey in the first place, because when I think about mine it instantly gives me that 'it's not worth it feeling' and I grab a piece of fruit or have a coffee!

I live in the UK - aged 48 - with hubby and two daughters age 12 and 17 - other 4 (step) kids all grown up and left home and we also have 6 grandkids (aged between 1 and 7). Came back to this in round 110

R110 - Start weight 155.0lb Finish weight 152.3lb Round Loss 2.7lb

Round goal - keep tracking, keep losing and get out for my 10k steps walk in the evenings (working from home at the minute so desk bound most of the day) and keep active at the weekends with doing stuff round the house.
My first mini target is to get back into the 140's.....

Didn't get out on a walk yesterday other than a short walk up to our local shops as so busy with work and then our weekly virtual pub quiz night with friends via video and a catch up with hubby on the phone who is working away at the moment. but I'm tracking, drinking my water and feeling focused so its all good

04/18 - 150.4lb (-.90lb) All good so far. Got out for a 4mile walk yesterday evening and feeling very positive and in control at the moment

04/19 - 150.6lb (+0.2lb) Not in any way due to excess calories, just my usual weight loss pattern - lose for a few days then stabilises off for a bit. Had a beautiful 5mile walk yesterday with my 12 year old DD over to the woods that were so full of bluebells the smell was almost overpowering. Was a wonderful couple of hours

Have changed my profile pic to one I took yesterday that will make me smile every time I remember today! There are definitely some advantages to the world at the moment as we would not normally have the time to do this on a "normal" Saturday afternoon
