The SS Mary sails! Congrats!
Good day watching some racing and just relaxing.
Busy week ahead while I prep for next weeks surgery....Trying to wrap up spring classes.

Hang in the Skip and good luck with the upcoming surgery. We are going to celebrate our grandson's graduation from St John's University in New York. We were suppose to fly to NY and Queens to attend graduation Saturday May 16th. He is graduating Summa cum laude which we are proud of for sure. We were booked to go on to Switzerland with him from NY. Strangely none of that is happening. He had about 12 hours to clear out his room and return home to Oregon after they closed the campus. He finished up online. They are also doing a virtual online graduation ceremony too.

Seems the rain is just letting up now, yikes, thats enough. Temps to rise this week so the gardens will like it after all this water.
Woke up to a text sent at 11pm from DS2, they have an accepted offer on the house that had not yet hit the market! Im excited to hear from his this morning ! Lets hope all the inspections etc. pass and they can move on it June 30th. Next on his list, is designing an engagement ring with my grandparents diamonds.... (his great grand parents).
Hope this week goes fast, we got some pontooning to do this weekend! And fishing too! Kelly needs to come up here and show me how its done!!!
I may be able to get a hair cut this week, we will see. Its the longest it been since middle school, reaching past the middle of my back.
Glad you are getting fixed up again Skip, hopefully this guy warranties his work?

- Boy you are up early Bob. Graduation is a strange event for all the graduates this year. They'll definitely have something to remember and talk about. Sorry you missed your trip.
- Speaking of strange. Kevin Harvick wins the race at Darlington and gets out of the car to silence. That's not the way it is supposed to work.
- We continued watchin Alias last night. Sydney Bristow is one bada$$ girl.
- I have an HOA Finance committee meeting this morning. First one in several months.

Prayers continue for Skip's upcoming surgery.
Congrats on your maiden voyage, Mary. I have a Suzuki DF 70 on my wee boat. 4 stroke and fuel injected and verwy, verwy quiet. Pushes me boat about 30 knots with just me on board and half a tank of gas. DW OKed the purchase of said boat and since her name is Mary, I dubbed the boat "Mary's Folly".
I wish DS#1 would just run the Ducati on a track, but I fear he will be road riding too. Ugh.
Farm life agrees with you Steph. Sounds like you got out of the retail biz just in the nick of time.

Taking DW for echocardiogram this morning reckon I’ll be required to wait in car
Fixed breakfast this morning ham and cheese omelets and made toast from leftover over biscuits I had made last night
I’m upset with our HOA still not opening pool after state released restraints and county OK’ed
Congratulations Bob on DGS, sorry about not being able to make trips but he has something that will carry him far

Good morning BBB crew.
Lots of purchases in the BBB family: houses, boats ... Keeping the economy moving forward.
I tried to watch racing, yesterday, but there was a channel showing paint dry and that seemed more interesting. NASCAR just isn't my thing. But then, some people say they are bored watching soccer and golf. Go figure.
Heading to an Asian market to buy some bok choy. That will be the highlight of the day.0 -

Appointment with cornea specialist today and all good so cleared for surgery next week to remove the oil bubble that was placed in my eye after the retina repair - very delayed due to COVID so I'm happy to be getting it done.
Mary, love the boat and from the look on Tom's face he will have fun with it.
Bob - congrats to your grandson - that is quite an accomplishment.
Bill - you and I will be all fixed up next week - yippee!
Sam - good luck with DW's echocardiogram
