Hello, I am a little late in posting to the team link. I am retired and have struggled to keep my weight down all my life. I hope this challenge will give me the push I need to get back on track. Thank you to all of you who are coordinating the challenge and good luck to everyone.

@Terry111330 welcome to the group! I hope our team can give you the support and encouragement to succeed! :)

I finally figured out how to force myself to do meal prep... my deep freezer malfunctioned and thawed everything at once!! 😳49f2duwfq617.jpeg

@Krysless2 that is a bummer, but maybe the kick you needed this week! :)
I will definitely need it!! The protesting was going on right down the street. My husband and I had to run down in the midst of it and shut one of his stores down. It was a mess and when the freezer went down I had a mini binge.. So this has started my week off with an uphill battle if I want to lose any weight on Saturday the prepping I got out of it should help me out a bit!!

@Krysless2 that is a bummer! I hope that his business escapes unscathed! It is rather terrifying what is going on all over the country right now!

    You CAN keep focus!

    Tracked: Yes
    Under: yes
    Exercise: yes

    Step & Water Challenge:
    Water: 137.8
    Steps: 26,016 (currently)

    Goals:
    10,000 steps: ✔✔✔✔
    Log all food/drinks: ✔✔✔✔
    Run 3x/week: ✔✔✔✔
    Strength: ✔✔(abs)✖✔(abs)
    Yoga: ✔✔✔✔
    10 minute abs: ✔✔✖✔

Edit random share: so this morning I woke up to a weight of 180.5... I was just realizing that my previous weigh in was 180.9, and officially my LOWEST weight in over ten years(that I know of!) I was just excited thinking about it and am eager to continue to prove to myself that I CAN do this. With my previous weight loss in 2014/2015, I had gotten down to 182.9. So, yay!

@cmhubbard92 That is fantastic, Christine.🎉 That deserves a great big YAY !

Journal ~ Had to run over to my uncle and aunts house to help them out with some insurance stuff and i ended up staying and hanging out a while. I’m noticing I’m not doing too well with my food choices when things have been unexpectedly popping up! Planning has never been a strong suit of mine! On a brighter note I’m going to put it in writing here what I plan to do!! I WILL be doing Intermittent Fasting tomorrow, I WILL be cooking some of that meat I prepped up with some sort of veggies and I promise I WILL NOT mark my check list up with NO emojis! I really need another YES day to get back on track!

I hope the store survived unscathed. My son lives in downtown Seattle and has been sending pictures, what a mess. I really hope that this ends soon. First COVID and now this, I feel so bad for small shop owners.

@shellyscb, way to go, reaching 10,000 steps!!

@DaffyGirl88, sorry it was "one of those days" at work! At least you fit your vodka and iced tea into your calories for the day, so that is a positive.
