@pins1982 Welcome to the group :)

@Paz922 - Sounds like a well deserved/important off day- enjoy and start the week fresh :)!

@birdy1539 congrats! what an awesome surprise loss :)

@PatriciaNeves2015 Congrats on the loss :) nice weigh in, thanks for the NICE cream recipe, I've made it with bananas but not yogurt!

@bagpeel you got this, at least you are trending in the right direction :)!

@brittgreenlikethecolor88 weekends can be my downfall as well. I started buying ~140 cal icecream bars and will allow myself one of those instead of something from outside the house as a weekend treat. Keeps me above calories, but below maintenance and satisfies the craving.

@annieu613 congrats on almost being done your lift program! how exciting!!

Ick. I was at 207.2 on Friday but my weekend went to crap food wise and I was up this morning. We had take out on Friday and Sunday and Saturday I just snacked on random stuff all day. I need to get my butt back into gear. Saturday I didn't use the treadmill at all so last night I walked for an hour. I have been increasing my speed and was able to do the whole hour at 2mph. Not very fast, I know, but I have short legs! I have my whole week planned out with the exception of dinners, BUT we are eating at home ALL WEEK so that should keep me from going overboard. Hope to rid myself of all the water weight I'm holding and get back to 207 and lower here soon.

I am late to the game but I have lost 6 pounds the last 2 weeks. I am at 152 and want to be at 143 which gets me to "normal" body weight and back to where I was last year and pre COVID/gym closing. I think I could lose 9 lbs by the end of June? I could use some motivation!
    How is your goal going?

I'm up a bit from last week but TOM so thats allowed. I need to get my *kitten* moving and walking again. I'm working out but I really got bored walking so I am setting out some sort of walking plan, June 15 I'm really hoping to be 161 or 162, big for one week for me but I think if I aim to hit 160 by mid June I will have some great momentum for 2nd half of the month. That is the plan anyway.

Best of luck to you all for the next few weeks. I hope we all do well. Fingers crossed.

This week I expected a gain or maintenance because of my road trip last weekend but I have a new problem. I found this frozen pizza/pastry at Trader Joe's and I've been eating it for the last four days consistently. It has a lot of salt so my sodium has been through the roof 😫😫. I'm not upset about my numbers because I know I've been honestly logging everything and I've been within my calorie range but there's definitely water retention going on here. I made a promise to myself that from now on, I'll still eat the pizza (until I'm tired of it) but only on the weekend like Friday or Saturday. Sort of like a treat for me. I don't even like frozen foods but this pizza was bomb 😲

    Good Morning All,

Got my workout in this morning (cardio and freeweights). I had a pretty crazy nightmare (not usual) that meant a bit less sleep but I am glad I still got it done :) 2 weeks and I should be set to remain on track for 5:00AM workouts.

Weighted in this morning and a good portion of the bloat from the Chinese food is back off. Having said that, I made a booboo with my new scale- the app needs to be open to load the weight from the scale, so I am not exactly sure how much as I didnt realize this prior and am a bit foggy on what it read (ha).

Focusing on my calories again today- have a good portion of the day pre logged, just not sure what I want for dinner.

Hope everyone has a fab day :)

@Making_Impossible_Possible - you and I are in the same boat with water weight- we got this!
@Bjane01 - Welcome! I am not sure how tall you are but I'd aim for 5 and take any extra as a win. Hope you find the group active and motivating.
@brittgreenlikethecolor88 - you got this- probably just a scale flux! https://physiqonomics.com/the-weird-and-highly-annoying-world-of-scale-weight-and-fluctuations/
@grace173 - you got this :) My goal is 164 for this month! Hope to hit it. Nice to see your numbers, I find it encouraging to me.
@Ayesha0624 - a treat is a treat, it's good you logged accurately, water weight can be such a jerk from sodium retention but isn't real , you got this!

@jewelelainecasey congrats!! that is so awesome :)!!
    @PatriciaNeves2015 awesome loss!

Unfortnatley today has not gone as planned- our home security system started to have a massive glitch at 2:30 am, I was on the phone with them until 4:00 am trying to reset the smoke detector sensors digitally so it would stop going off (there was no smoke or fire, it was just trying to re add itself to the system). I didn't fall back asleep till about 5 thanks to my racing heart/anxiety.

As a result no 5:00 am workout. I think I will sub my tomorrow workout for tonight as I am not a fan of taking pre workout in the evening, but could easily do some cardio without it. I think that means two days of HIIT back to back though as per the program I am following...yikes. I am going to take a look after work and make a decision.

In pleasant news my bloat from the Chinese food is gone, even with such poor sleep. Ready to keep trending down :)!. Really trying to hit 164 lbs this month.

@cbenno97 omg your weight loss is so inspiring! We have the same goals and started from a similar place too; keep it up!

I’ve been making consistent progress and am very happy about it! Lost a pound this week and am almost at 120 lbs! I’m finishing finals this week and starting a summer internship, so I’m hoping I can still stick to my exercise/meal schedule. Right now I intermittent fast and work out in the morning (but I wake up late so it’s like 11 am workouts), but with work starting early I’m going to see if I can motivate myself to wake up to go on early morning runs...we’ll see!
