Well, I fell off the wagon a bit these last few weeks. I'd completely lost my motivation. I was still eating okay-ish and logging sort of but was feeling a bit meh over the whole thing. I decided to get back on it and start logging and exercising again and just go from there. 195 by the end of August is still possible!

    You can do it!😊

I successfully had my outpatient procedure on Saturday. I am incredibly swollen/dehydrated still , seriously I am so swollen nothing fits besides some borrowed shirts from hubs and a pair of old pj pants. My arms, legs, stomach everything are swollen. For now I am just avoiding the scales and drinking my water/watching calories. Will weigh in when this goes down a bit!
Our basement reno is finished at last as well :) last thing I want is a shelf put up and a curtain/rod. Hopefully this weekend and its complete.

@my4570 perhaps you need to recomp? Not sure if its a fixed number or appearance, but sounds like to me that you may enjoy recomp given the deficit you need now not being very realistic, perhaps check the maintain form out :).

@jewelelainecasey lol your little edit made me giggle. I am the same way right now- I am dissapointed in myself, its like I am slidding backwards yet I have a lot more to aim towards. Weird mental state. I think youll meet your goal by end of August- I have a good feeling :)

@Making_Impossible_Possible - you can still make it! way to recommit :)

I am glad the procedure was a success!. Drinking lots of water is key when you are swollen.

I did not weigh on purpose this week. I've been having a difficult time with this concussion. I am better but I am still not myself. I've not been tracking everything. However, I decided today that I need to get on track and get back to what has worked for me in the past. I lost 12 lbs avoiding sugar and wine. I can do it again! I am recommitting myself to feeling healthier. We can do this!! 😊

@Paz922 I know you can do it! Please focus on your health first, so if that means being less stressed about tracking then definitely do that! It's great that you identified your BED triggers and whatever works for you is best. Sugar and flour are tough since that encompasses a lot of foods; I think identifying healthy substitutes that are satisfying could be helpful, but also not ignoring cravings entirely.

@MeganD1704 yes, I have been reading about recomp, thank you! That is definitely a goal of mine, but since I don't have any weights at home, I can only really do resistance training/bodyweight exercises for strength training. So I'm trying to be gradual rather than pretending that 2,000 cal right away like a lot of the weight lifting gals eat won't make me gain weight haha

In terms of updates, I am 1 lb away from my monthly goal! One more week, one more pound! This month has gone by quite fast...I have some social activities at the end of the month, so I hope to hit below 115.5 before the water weight kicks in from those. Keep going everyone! You all got this!

    Hello everyone,

I hope everyone is having a great week! I am now on vacation relaxing after a few busy weeks. I am tracking my food and making good food choices. My goal is to not gain weight during vacation. I am enjoying the beach! It makes me happy😊
