The previous week was a tough one mentally and emotionally, but this week I'm back feeling better and I'm on my longest streak of logging in to this app at 40 days! I've used this app on and off for years now and when I have a rough spot I usually don't get it back together. But this time I'm finally feeling like I'll be able to stick to it!

    Original starting weight - 189

July goal - down 6 lbs to 177
    Ultimate goal - 145/150

    1st - 183 lbs
7th- 181 lbs (pretty sure this is because I have been bad and not drank any water yet today! but I am surprised at this loss!)
14th-- 177.6 (I weigh in in the morning after I workout)
22nd- 177.6 (hmm. Guess the water weight has come off and now it’s the hard work!)
    28th -

Ooof. This is sobering. I better be extra attentive to my meals now, both quality and quantity! Time to lose some real weight.

Just wondering please, how do you tag someone to reply to their comment. It almost looks like copy and paste but I've tried it and didn't work.
    Not good with tech😅

Heaviest weight: 175.4 in early 2013.
Original MFP starting weight (January 2018) - 168.2
    June 30 starting weight - 148.0 (ten-day rolling average weight 148.8)
    July goal - 145
    Ultimate goal - Range between 142 - 148

I report scale weight and (ten day average weight), and I post on Saturdays.

    June 30: 146.0 (10-day average 146.3)
    July 4: 148.0 (10-day average 146.5)
    July 11: 146.0 (10-day average 146.5)
    July 18: 147.4 (10-day average 147.0)
    July 25: 145.6 (10-day average 145.8)

Total loss for July: One half pound since the end of June, but over a pound, even by ten-day average, from a week ago. I'm feeling like I'm back on track. I am still in the top third of my ideal maintenance range, but close to the middle of my absolute maintenance range.

I can allow myself to be happy that I'm still slowly making progress to get back closer to my ultimate goal weight after the COVID weight gain in March and April. I'm staying in my maintenance range. Today I weigh less than one month ago, less than two months ago, and less than three months ago. My ten-day average weight is EXACTLY the same as a year ago. That's maintenance I guess, so I can give myself some credit and stop being so upset that it's taking so long to lose those last few stubborn pounds. I'll get there. YOU WILL TOO!

    July start Weight: 189.4
    July Goal Weight: 184
Ultimate Goal Weight: To be fit and healthy. Right now my scale target is around the 165 mark, but that’s a fluid target.

    July 1 : 189.4
    July 6: 187.2
    July 13: 186.6
    July 20: 182.6
July 27: 183.6 not sweating the one pound. I’m a little bloated from some bad food choices (they were delicious and worth it) over the weekend. My trend is still heading in the right direction, that’s what matters most.

Good on you for not worrying about a minor blip up. If you track your trend, you're doing well, and you're at your goal for the month! Right on!

As to the bolded part, since you did enjoy it, since it was delicious, and since it was worth it, maybe you shouldn't think of it as "bad." Maybe it was a treat. Maybe it was fine, and you can have it from time to time and NOT HAVE ANY KIND OF GUILT because food isn't bad.
